A big thank you to Bounce'n Round for the care they showed my son when we were there for a recent…read morebirthday party. Due to my son's medication, he sometimes feels nauseous and gets sick. Unfortunately, this birthday party was one of those times. After he jumped for a bit, he needed to sit down, and my husband was able to bring over a large garbage can for him to get sick into. The staff did not wince or cringe when they swiftly disposed of the can. They stripped the nearby table he had been sitting at of its tablecloth, wiped down the table and chairs with disinfectant wipes and remade everything in just a few minutes. I thanked the owner, and he shrugged it off, saying he hopes my son feels better. My son's bout wasn't due to him having the flu or being infectious -- but it was comforting to see how well they take care of everything in case he had been. My son felt better after that, and my daughter and the rest of the kids had a blast. Bounce'n Round does birthday parties right, helping everyone keep to a schedule of fun that includes black lights, pizza, birthday cake, a group photo and bubble play. A definite party winner!

When we arrived, they had us sign a waiver and the kids could immediately go play. After playing for a bit, the staffers used the overhead speaker to announce different activities. The kids got to have a glow in the dark dance party with glowing balls. Later they danced with foam and bubbles. And at the end of the party, they let balloons fall from the ceiling! To end the night, the staffers rolled out a cotton candy machine. The staff was kind, attentive, and beyond helpful. Throughout the entire party they were present for anything we would need. If you're looking for a well oiled machine for a kids birthday, this place is it!

My kids and I attended a birthday party at Foam Warriorz. This review will include the overall…read morevenue experience and the birthday party experience. The company is not new. They moved from Breckenridge Lane to Bardstown Rd. From what I was told, the new location is bigger than what it was before. And it is a pretty nice size space. Once you walk in they have a screen for you to sign a waiver for individuals who are participating. Towards your right there are arcade games which only take money coins not arcade coins. They have a change machine for you to get change. There is a throwing ax area, sumo arena, bounce house arena and a gaming arena in addition to the foam shooting arenas. There are two party areas that are separated by a wall and a net for privacy. From a party perspective the lowest basic package is $300. With this package you receive 45 minutes in the party room which you use first and than one hour in the public foam arena. You do not get the access to the private foam arena. Which I think they should include a 30 minute private arena to the basic package so that the birthday child can play exclusively with their friends but that is more money. You get access to the other arenas but not the arcade game because it only takes money. They have guns to rent and for the birthday They do provide nerf guns for you to shot but it's only the basic one shot gun. For the birthday child they get an upgrade to a bigger gun to shoot more darts. You can upgrade your gun for an additional cost or bring in your own nerf gun which I would recommend. The cost is $15 per child for one hour of play and $20 for 90 minutes of play. Not too bad! Overall, my kiddos enjoyed it and would possibly go back.

Rent & Rave is a party equipment rental company that services the Lousiville area. I recently used…read morethis company while hosting a taste tour event for my kids local school and church. Our order was for 27 bar stool tops and several table cloths (around 30) for the event. Ordering was simple enough. We called the local number received a quote agreed on a price ( $1,470) and setup a delivery date for the day before our event. Day of delivery they quoted a delivery window and stuck to the time. The table cloths were in good shape and taken care off. They messed up the color counts a bit but that wasn't a major issue to us. My bigger issue is with the high top bar stools we rented which was a big chunk of the expense. The bar stools probably need to be put out to pasture. All 27 looked horrible and had more miles on them then a Ford Model T. Which is ok if they were presentable and functional. Luckily we had plans to drape with nice table cloths anyways. However around 7-10 of them had missing bottoms to the feet and swayed more than a see saw during recess on a warm day. Majority of the table tops always came lose from the base. If they barely moved they broke apart or had to be retightened. I tried to track down the delivery guy who had zero cares for the situation. So we made a phone call back to the local office who said they would get some replacement table tops out same day. About an hour later a repair man came out with feet for the legs and some sticky tape to attach them. He tightened a few tables and left us sticky tape behind for when the table feet inevitably would come off. Overall extremely disappointed. You pay good money for what should be usable equipment that should not require sticky tape to be left behind to piece together. The table cloths were in good shape thankfully but the bar stool table tops were a complete mishap and in terrible shape. Time for the company to upgrade those for sure.
