Although I appreciate that my health insurance covers transportation to medical appointments, I have been very disappointed in Alivi the last 2 years. They typically arrive even earlier than the stated pick up window time which is annoying. And their scheduled initial pick up times are way too early so that I sometimes have almost an hour wait at my doctors if the doctor is on time. Because of that I do everything possible to avoid using Alivi. read more

This was my first PT and OT appointment in SIX YEARS. My first transportation service experience since become paralyzed... So disappointed, we scheduled an appointment pick up for 12:40pm, we contacted them at 1pm to ask where the driver was and ETA for the pick-up. Customer service representative said the driver pushed it back to 2pm pick-up due to the appointment time.. Ok fishy because no communication was relayed to us about that significant time change.. Which was okay because my appointment was set for 2:45pm. It's fine I waited, then 2:20pm rolled around.. STILL NO DRIVER, NO COMMUNICATION, NOTHING. Rene Machado was my scheduled driver, no professionalism to contact us directly even after calling the first time around. I was so excited to finally leave my house for the first time in six years. Such a morale drop for me. No consideration or empathy from any customer service representative. When asking for a supervisor or manager, no one was available. So unprofessional and inconsiderate for working in the health care field. Best part about this, the considered this a CANCELLATION after being confirmed at 12:40pm. That's a NO SHOW. Definitely refuting this with my insurance. read more

If I could have given them negative 10 I would!! They are soooooo unprofessional. They are ALWAYS canceling rides with little or no prior notice. They cancelled a pickup for my Mom and left her stranded I had to call an Uber for her. I have to find another transportation company this one sucks! I should say however, customer service is a 10 very respectful and helpful read more

Alivi - Medical Transportation Near Me - Doral, Florida

Almost always late. Male drivers take a bath in cologne. Dispatch operators will say the driver is only 3 minutes away when it turns out to be 20. If you use this service tell them your appointment is 30 minutes earlier than it actually is. read more

This company is the worse no showns, last minute cancellations, late pick ups. Customer service could not be worse. Real trash best wishes they go out of business read more

This the most incompetent company around. They drop rides, send drivers to your destination instead of to your pick up point, their app fails, and I have been left stranded in the rain for an hour because they don't know what they're doing. They must be cheap because humana keeps using them. read more

They hire AWFUL NEMT companies to drive patients around and all the drivers talk about they get paid by the trip so they have to rush to the next patient instead of taking care of the people you have. They're always late and I miss 3-4 appointments because of no show because they can't read and depend on phone GPS. One driver called and said hey I'm here. I said I'm outside where are you, he said I'm at 411.. I'm in 90... I give 00000 stars. read more

Alivi - They pick me up in a car full of junkyard stuff and had to hold my walker in the back seat with me. I have spine damage. - Medical Transportation Near Me - Doral, Florida

Absolutely terrible! I have had to take an Uber 3 times on my own dime bc they do not communicate well with each other or the customer. I can't afford them! read more

Do not use this transportation. They are unreliable. They are never on time, don't show up at all, or lie to say they showed up and client was not available. They lack empathy and customer service. They often times cancel your scheduled trip without your knowledge. read more

First of all because whoever scheduled my ride for today did a typo on the address now they won't fix it. So ridiculous. They have the most ridiculous rules I've ever heard bs tbh read more

Alivi car service is: horrible, unreliable and needs an enema to flush out the amount of crap i have been given by them in the two week span that they have been used for my 85 year old mother's day care transportation. I have never seen or felt with such incompetence, I had to take time from work 4 times to drive my mother to her day care missing time from work and completely defeating the purpose of having this service so she can be taken care of so that i can go to work and not have to worry about her! I am livid! This company should be closed down or atleast a 3rd party should come in and make sure that they are not billing patients for rides not given, and get competent drivers! I unfortunately had to give 1 star because the app doesn't let you do -5 Sincerely, a person who's had enough, not to mention a right up at work for being late for having to drive my mom into a day care because of an unreliable transportation company! read more

Horrible scheduling transportation for Seniors. The transportation is unreliable with long wait times and no shows. Horrible company and experience. Don't recommend. Also, don't go with Humana Medicare Plans as they contract with Alivi Health Transportation. read more

The worst spanish operated company on the planet. I hate this company for various reasons. They will cancel your trip abruptly, and their reason for it be lies. Giving excuses like on the day of your appointment they are closed, which is not true at all! Or they didn't have you as a patient. Excuse me, but I'm in a huge city where health is offered at numerous medical facilities, including walk ins. Not all medical appointments are actual timed appointments! I dont always have to be a patient nor have an appointment to go to see a doctor or to a clinic. Just as long as my walk in is within business hours, I am within my rights to go to see a doctor. I am going to file a complaint against Alivi transportation. This is a inhumane type of organization, very shady, foul company. Real despicable! read more

If I could give them a zero minus I would... This is the transportation company Humana recommends. Called one month in advance to schedule a Tampa surgery. Then called 3 days before surgery to confirm... Astrid telling me I could have just called the day of!!!?? I told her it was a 3-hour drive and there would be a layover while I recovered before needing a ride home. Never heard from Astrid again but then I spoke with Adriana, who assured me everything was fine and she was leaving the paperwork on her desk for the next day when she came into work just to confirm it and would call me. My third time calling I spoke with Uma and she assured me I had a ride after she had spoken to her supervisor. The ride was scheduled for 2:00 in the morning as I wanted to be there by 5:00 a.m... at 1:45 I received the text telling me to go stand outside my ride would be there momentarily... I kept waiting and waiting and immediately received another text saying there was no driver available !!!! This is after giving them a heads up out of being courteous one month prior to needing their transportation service... They left me high and dry on the morning of my surgery which was extremely stressful and not needed when you're going into surgery... I found all three young ladies I spoke with lied and could not have cared less about my Transportation needs...DO NOT use this bogus company.. many complaints to the better Business bureau.. they review themselves as being great but they are worse than zero, they will leave you hanging the day of your surgery after looking them up online, which I didn't think I had to since this is the transportation company that you mana refers you to, one office is in Miami with some bogus address, and the second office listed is in Doral Florida..... When I went back to look at my messages telling me my ride was going to be there I saw they had deleted it but I had taken a picture of it so they need to be a little quicker next time.... I also learned they have quite a lot of complaints with the better Business bureau.... You have been forewarned.... read more

Driver showed up early then gets to the door and says 'your ride has been cancelled somebody else is coming.' First he asked if 'I' cancelled the ride and of course I hadn't. So he leaves and I call Alivi. They tell me someone else is coming. The new driver shows up and she's barely on time. We only needed to get blood drawn. She waits a few minutes and then leaves right when we're done. The company then tells us it will take 45 minutes for someone to pick us up. read more

3 times since March(10 months total and the didn't show up 30% of the time ) they have not shown up and canceled the ride without warning. I agree!! I have had nobody even show up for me twice the vehicles are so junked up you can't even hear yourself think because they're making such a racket or someone's on the phone language with different language and you have no idea what the heck is going on. time I had to call Uber to get home because I was left at my appointment twice actually I'm so thankful that I had the extra money with me or I would've been devastated. They tell me to hang they're gonna try and get in touch with the driver to pick me up and they never come back to the and then they appointment with them and then I miss my appointment with my and calling the same day to cancel costs money they charge for no-show if you don't call with so many hours. I have oxygen and have completely run my oxygen because I've been sitting in the van so long while we go 30 miles an hour and two or three other people are picked up and dropped off because I the furthest so I wish they would understand me when I give them tips. I tell them that I'm far away I tell them I need extra time for the driver because it takes a while I tell them have oxygen I be on the rickety van for two or three hours waiting to get home. This whole company is a farce!! It's the elderly that can't even speak to the driver because they just don't care. Very cruel to some elderly people. read more

I usually transportation for quite a while and they keep screwing up. I call ahead of time and let them know that it's only supposed to be left or Uber and they still send wings in the last month and a half. Wings have made me late for many of my appointments and have also said they be here in 30 minutes and show up after 45 minutes making me late. As well the vehicle that I get smell atrociously as cat urine and I even confirmed it with the driver while on the phone with Care Plus service and they heard the confirmation of the driver that yes they have cats. I could not hardly breathe how to ask to open window on the way home. Alivi continuously automatically changes my trip to wings when it's supposed to be left over only and it's in my permanent notes. Don't know what's up with their services but it sucks lately pretty bad. Whenever I have Uber or Lyft the way they're supposed to do it it works fine. read more

Humana uses Alivi as a medical transport company for medicare patients in Florida. I wouldn't suggest anyone with Humana to use this company. Someone was supposed to pick me up at the doctor today at 11:25 and noone had still arrived at 12:10 when I got other transport home. No phone calls to warn me the driver would be late but a constant string of promises saying a driver would be there in10 minutes, 15 minutes and so forth.
