Casa Azul is an extraordinary glimpse into the world of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. The home is meticulously curated, with every room lined with artwork, personal belongings, and intimate details that offer a deeper understanding of the artists' lives, their creative spirits, and the world they inhabited.
The exterior is just as enchanting, with vibrant plants and lush gardens that Frida herself tended to, many of which are still growing today. There is something incredibly moving about walking through a space so deeply connected to an artist's life and legacy. The entire property radiates creativity, history, and a distinct energy that resonates deeply with anyone who appreciates art and artistic expression.
My only complaint is that tickets are clearly oversold, making the experience quite crowded and taking away from the intimacy of exploring such a personal space. That said, Casa Azul is absolutely worth visiting. It's more than a museum, it's a space to step into Frida's world and experience the beauty, complexity, and spirit behind her work. An unforgettable stop for anyone visiting Mexico City. 9/10
