She was initially…read moreworried about moving into a home, but the staff have mostly been fantastic in welcoming her and making it feel like home. They are at her beck and call and she wants for nothing. Its pretty basic but the rooms are clean and have everything she needs, they are cleaned regularly and she has bowls for fruit and sweets that they top up every week. They organise regularly events with singers, activities, film days, and birthday parties. They have a hairdresser in once a week too. They are also very welcoming to visitors and you nearly always get a cuppa and a biscuit when you visit. The care sector is very under paid so they do get a reasonable turn over of staff, but they also have people that have been there since day one which makes my Grandmother feel really secure. If you are considering a care home in Bristol then I would check this place out.
