My Turkish friend tipped me off: This is the best place for (fresh) lokum and confections in the city center. The display cases are filled with all sorts of delights! One evening I brought a foreign friend, here. Instead of dinner, we had aci badem (almond cookies). They were a nice big size... the texture was slightly firm / crunchy (like a traditional macaroon) but the inside was soft! The inside also was dry, but not crumbly. read more
