We didn't look into other offices, so I can't comment on whether they are more or less expensive than other practices, but their total package seems priced similarly to friends experiences. On-going visits are typically quick (except for visits related to big changes to the braces) and my tween quickly got used to the process of caring for his teeth with braces. The office staff is kind and friendly, the doctor is encouraging and informative. The Kanas staff makes the process as fun as possible for my child, while being realistic about when the results might lead to soreness or pain. The scheduling is very convenient, including weekend appointments. The typical visit schedule is once per month and you are in and out rather quickly. The building and lobby aren't flashy, but it's not needed. The practice office is up to date and welcoming. This whole process has been as enjoyable for my child as possible and we get no complaints when it is time for an appointment. Definitely consider Kanas when you are deciding on an ortho practice.

This review, however, isn't so much about the care they've provided me, although, I was at their office yesterday for my second annual cleaning and received wonderful care from Laureen, per usual. This review is a shout out to their admin Shawna who was gracious enough to help me sort out some issues with my son's care at a dental office across the state, where he lives part time. I had called to get a couple questions answered about an issue I was running into at the other office. Shawna took it upon herself to call the other office in order to get me some better information so I could move forward with my son's care. She didn't need to help me out; she didn't need to do ANYTHING since my son is not a patient at GFD, but she took time out of her day to help me get my son's appointment across the state more squared away. I'm very thankful for her kindness and GFD's attention to patient/customer service.
