There are a few chairs provided and there's a ledge you can sit on. There are not specific folding tables, all the area on top of the bank of washers can be used for folding. It's very efficient. I love this neighborhood. I could have popped over next door for a beer, but why not just stay and enjoy the best waschsalon ever? There's time enough for beer after fluffing and folding.

Very pleasant person with good English explained where I should load my laundry and offered to have it delivered to our hotel for 5 euros. I think each load was 10 euros. So much cheaper than having the hotel do it, even if you include the 12 Euro cab ride there. Laundry was done nicely, delivery was on time, we may even go there again before we leave Hamburg. Also, located just off a pleasant square (Hansaplatz) with several cafes, adjacent to a fun diverse neighborhood with lots of produce and doner shops.

Upon returning to get my clothes the lady was cleaning up and mopping and the first thing I saw was my $20 tumbling around in the dryer. Is it a laundrette? Is it a bar? Well obviously it's both!…read more I've been to some cool bars in my time in Hamburg, but Laundrette is right up there with the best of them. Perfect Quality and Extremely Trustworthy !…read more If you know the phrase, "You get what you pay for," you will understand exactly why Junge & Hay is as expensive as they are. In 2008, a saleswoman at the wedding gown store b+a+c recommended Junge & Hay to me. I had paid over EUR2000 for my wedding dress and only wanted to trust it to the very best dry cleaner in Hamburg. It was extremely important for me to find a good dry cleaner because I had had so many bad experiences at other dry cleaners in Hamburg, ruining numerous fantastic articles of clothing from the U.S. and then giving me attitude when I complained about it. Junge & Hay was the opposite of what I had experienced before. They smiled when I came in making me feel warm and welcome. They listened carefully as I explained what I wanted from them. They were extremely patient and calm even though my German in 2008 was horrible. Junge & Hay is the only place I go when I want to dry clean an article of clothing that is very important to me.
