After I did they refused to pay saying everything had depreciated. Then after several calls and emails to update the content then they told me I don't have that kind of policy. But they continued to take my payments even when they went up after we upped the content valued amount. They still refuse to pay but I need it very badly to finish my new house for me and my daughter. I am very dissatisfied with them and would not recommend them to anyone. As a matter of fact I would try to change the mind of anyone who wanted to use them they do not stand by their word at all. This is the worst time to find out a company sucks !!!

Community Credit Union definitely does not care about its members. I recently moved to New York to…read moreaccept a job, but wanted to keep my hometown credit union because of shared branching. I spent over an hour on the phone today trying to coordinate the release of a check hold with them (which to be honest is very easy), but still could not get the person in charge to even acknowledge my situation. Mind that this is my first paycheck in over 5 months because I was unemployed, and I even had the NYC credit union fax them a copy of the check. I have been a member of this credit union for over 8 years, and the first time I ever needed something important from them, I was treated as though I didn't even exist. As someone who works in media and social relations, this is absolutely shameful. I will be moving my money from this institution immediately. The customer service here is terrible, and half the tellers are unaware of what is going on around them. They have very sad, somber looks every time I have been in there. I would recommend a different financial institution.
