This big old building is over 100 years old and sits pride of place in the heart of Dennistoun. "The Parade", as it's known locally, is a lovely little school that hasn't given in to modern day refurbishment and has kept its unique charm after all these years.
One of the local primary schools, it is very popular, with a good reputation and places for pupils here are highly sought after.
As with many schools, the janitor lives on site in the old original "janny's hoose" and adds to this place's original features and charm. The only thing that confuses me is that the front of the building has the words "PVBLIC SCHOOL" engraved into it, which may simply be old style writing or the work of some cheeky prankster all those years ago. read more
