Alexander's Florist has been my family's florist for decades. Recently my Mom passed away and I called on a Friday to ask for a beautiful spray for Mom's service. I described my Mom's favorite flowers and colors. The service was to be held the next day in under 24 hours. The arrangement was breathtaking and exceeded any expectation I may have had. The beauty, artistry and freshness of the arrangement was exceptional and I know my Mom in Heaven was so proud of how beautiful those flowers were. Charged me two different times and promised to make it good and still hasn't. On Aug. 19,2025 I placed an online order of flowers for my aunt's funeral service to be delivered on Sat. Aug.23, 2025. I didn't realize until after submitting my order that the message I wrote had changed back to a standard message. The next morning soon after the store opened, I contacted them to see about adding my message and names from whom they were from. I was told no problem and I appreciated that very much. My credit card showed my order was pending as usual. On the 21st my credit card showed my order had posted. I went to pay my credit card Monday following my order and supposed delivery of the flowers on Sat. only to find that I had been charged once again by the flower shop on the 25th. I called immediately and was told it was some mistake and I would be credited right away. Later that afternoon I saw a pending credit and thought it had been taken care of only to find the next morning that the credit had been cancelled and I still have both charges on my card. I have called numerous times only to be told it was refunded, sorry about the mistake, give it time etc. etc. Well, as of today, I still owe the charges they put on my card, no credit nor pending credit. I was told again it would be credit by today and it's not! I have lost sleep over this and this has caused me nothing but unnecessary stress that medically I am NOT supposed to be under. I have bleeding vessels in my head and can have seizures. I cannot believe this business can do this to someone who only wanted to buy flowers for their Aunt who passed away and couldn't be there because of severe health conditions. Disgraceful! I have all call logs where I have tried to get this fraudulent charge corrected and now I will be filing a fraudulent charge. read more

He is always -Very professional, very friendly, quick to respond, can do any requests, even SameDay, in beautiful, full arrangements. I've been blessed to know Mr. Harold Alexander my whole life. He was my late Grandmommie's favorite florist. Same for my mother and every classy lady I know. So when I began needing arrangements for my rental properties, it should be no surprise that my one and only call was to the absolute best--Alexander's!!! Incredible customer service (I love businesses where everybody knows you), flower designs that are FAR nicer and more beautiful than we're used to around here, and they truly care about their clients! When it comes to Floral Design, Mr. Alexander is definitely the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time)!!! He's won sooo many awards! I'd trust him with any arrangement, even if I didn't specify much about what I wanted. He knows his clients very well! I certainly won't be going anywhere else! Awesome so far! I am very particular about what I want. ( NO FTD GENERIC #&*$#). Called my florist in Sarasota , FL. I live in CHICAGO but have always loved MR. FLORISTS- Sarasota, FL ( Exotic, Contemporary, Structured works of art that appeal to men and woman.) Apparently Harold Alexander has won awards and is accredited at the highest level. Harold took my order personally and was very patient. I used to work at a florist so you can imagine how difficult I was as a customer spending my $$ thousands of miles away.
