Not going to get too in depth with this review for obvious reasons. The transition from hospital to cemetery was conducted seamlessly through Gina at Levitt Weinstein Funeral Homes. Pre-paid burials, cremations, plots and ceremonies definitely are the simplest methods when you are going to at some point have to lay a loved one to rest. Once the death certificate is produced the funeral home begins the appropriate notifications to the cemetery of your choice, ours was Beth David. Wonderful service from Tanya Reid I came in to her office after the funeral for personal reasons. She was so welcoming and so kind hearted one of the best people I have ever met shes so coopertave,patient and understanding. She was also reassuring that if I ever need anything I could contact her for help,you could tell she was very intrested in helping anyway she could. From the moment we notified them of our mother's passing, Ira Blasberg and Michele Chandler stepped up immediately and gave us the appropriate counsel for assistance in planning every aspect of her funeral. It has been a few months since receiving services from Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel. That being said, it is not easy to revisit that time in my life. But, I felt that it was important to share my positive experience. I worked primarily with Trisha, the funeral director, which I think is typical for these types of services. I did not have a traditional funeral that included a burial, only a memorial service and cremation. From the moment I received my first call from Trisha, to the latest phone conversation I had with her only a few weeks ago, I was amazed with the level of respect and professionalism displayed by her and her team. Nothing about death is easy and trusting a provider to ensure that your loved one is honored is even harder. That being said, I feel the level of care I received from Levitt-Weinstein was unmatched in this industry. Their services made a grim situation manageable and that was so vital during the early days after my loss. I had no idea what to expect when beginning this process, but I instantly felt that the staff at Levitt-Weinstein made it their duty to reserve their utmost attention to my family and our concerns. Considering all of this, my biggest concern was how well my family would be accommodated. Time after time, the staff at Levitt-Weinstein proved that our comfort was paramount. To the amount of people I requested to attend the contract signing, to the length of time my father's service took, I didn't sense one ounce of hesitation to make my experience as calming and fluid as possible. Trisha and the staff at Levitt Weinstein were informative, receptive, fair, understanding, patient, and accommodating. All-in-all, there isn't one negative point I can think to say about my experience with this memorial chapel. The memorial service was as long as we wanted it to be, and the Justice of The Peace was electrifying and insightful. Also, while unimportant to some but paramount to many, the costs and services rendered were extremely fair, concise and transparent. Nothing was hidden, and their options were numerous. It may surprise whoever is reading this to hear that I am a 25 year old who lost my father, and as a result, had to step up and shoulder the responsibility of managing the last rights of one of the most important people in my life. I have a sizable family, but no one was mentally equipped to handle this situation. I personally feel that one of the most helpful aspects of this terrible time was my experience at Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel. They provided me with a sense of calmness that I was able to channel into a jimmy-rigged sense of strength. I don't suppose many people "rave" about a funeral home, but I have to rave about Levitt-Weinstein Tamarac. My previous experiences with funeral homes has been unctuous sales people with fake sympathy. With my husband in hospice, I asked our Rabbi for a recommendation and he put me in touch with Tricia. We met with Jason, and his warmth was genuine and calming. He took care of the pre-need financial arrangements. The very next day my beloved passed away. I returned with my children to plan the service, and this time met with Tricia. Her professional demeanor and sweet personality made such a difficult time more bearable. She had good suggestions and was very respectful of our wishes. We had a celebration of his life that was joyous and bright, followed by a huge spread of food which was all arranged for us. The food was delicious, and enough to make any Jewish Mother happy. There was a lovely room for people to sit in, and we did not feel rushed to leave. I am planning to return to make my own pre-need arrangements, and so is my brother in law. No one ever wants to come to a funeral home. People gather to celebrate the life of a loved one they had lost. I was here two years ago celebrating the life of my father and then recently, celebrating the life of a very good friend who left us too early. I wanted to give Tricia Segura 10 starts for her attention to detail and sympathy to the family during this sad occasion. Tricia Segura did an amazing job ensuring our grandmother received the very best. Tricia extended her services by taking the time to accommodate all of our requests and ensuring they were followed through in her absence. She communicated daily, even multiple times per day. Stacey Osgood was also wonderful, she assisted us the days following up to the funeral service. On the day of the funeral Stacey, Ben ( one of the funeral directors) and the two ladies who greeted guests made sure everything before and during the service flowed beautifully, anything we needed they were at our service. After the service they assisted with a smooth transition from the funeral home to the burial site, and when we came back to the funeral home for the Repast they had all of the food and refreshments ready. As we started to run out of chairs, they ran back and forth to bring us more. I would like to also add the Harpist Kay Kemper was phenomenal, she played beautifully, and during the service and celebration of life for our mother and grandmother, she sat there compassionately involved during the tributes throughout the service, she was truly sincere. We never thought we would find ourselves looking for a funeral home, let alone a day after my mother in law passed away. We felt lost and unsure what to do. To be honest we found the Levitt-Weinstein Memorial Chapel doing a search on our phone. Not knowing what to expect we had a meeting with Tricia Segura and Stacey Osgood. From the first moment we met Tricia, she was very understanding and compassionate. We explained what we wanted and expected for our mother's memorial service. She was very professional and easy to talk. Still we felt the need to shop around. We visited varies other funeral homes in the area. Boy was this a big mistake. After a couple of hours of horrible service, lack of compassion and total disregard for how we felt by all these other competitors, We came back to Tricia, Stacey and their company. Greatest choice we could have made. From the setup of the casket, video picture collage, music, flowers, remembrance cards and dinner. The flowers on the casket were just as we wanted. The food that was ordered was spectacular. No words can describe how wonderful it was to be able to spend our last moments with our mother in law and not worry about all the other little details. Everything was handled exactly how we wanted it. Thank you so much Tricia Segura , Stacey Osgood and the rest of the staff at Levitt-Weinstein for making our grieving process that much easier.
