I wish I could give him a thousand stars. First of all, he is a highly professional, warm, and deeply accommodating vendor. Out of all of the vendors we used for our wedding, Alex takes the cake as the most dedicate, thorough, and invested of them. Our calls to map out the timeline and flow of photos were so pleasant and enjoyable, and he made the process a delight to participate in. Even before the actual day, I had complete faith in his ability to execute and deliver.
The wedding day comes around, and Alex became our hero and rock. There were so many random, unrelated, and frustrating things that kept going wrong and throwing the schedule out of whack. And it was Alex that not only kept checking in to make sure we were somehow staying on track, but also maneuvering around every obstacle to guarantee our photos. In the midst of chaos, he squirreled me away to do a solo bridal shoot, and later did the same for my bridesmaids, and then a couple's shoot with my husband. He moved efficiently and quickly without sacrificing quality or the good vibes. Every dedicated shoot during the day felt like I could pause and breathe. And he had scouted out the best locations in advance so everything flowed.
I don't think I would've survived the reception without him. There were so many issues with our day-of coordinator that Alex all but filled the gap and took on the role himself. He kept us moving along, he checked in with us frequently, and he organized photos with us for each table, and it never felt like a drag. All of the guests that I spoke to adored him, and said he was funny and very pleasant. My mom said that he was a peak professional.
The most touching moment for me was how he improvised our departure. We didn't bring sparklers, and I had lost confidence in my day-of coordinator by the end of the night, so I was going to just let everyone drift out to their cars. But it was Alex who asked if I wanted a grand exit, and because I trusted him with my life at this point, I said yes and I knew he was going to pull off something wonderful. Lo and behold, my husband and I step out the door, and there are all of our guests, lined up and ready, with their cellphone flashlights on and cheering. We take beautiful, serendipitous group photos, and none of it would've existed had it not been for Alex.
And this is all before I saw my photos. I just received my preview and I am blown away. I am floored by this man's talent to capture so many beautiful moments. He has such an eye for things, and the fact that he was able to adapt and take on so much coordination without sacrificing the quality of his work--I don't know how I got so lucky finding him to be my photographer. I'm so grateful for it, and I can't wait to see my full photo catalogue.
I hope this man is booked and busy for life. If you get the chance to have him as your photographer, you are in exceptional hands. read more
