The restaurant is right near the bahnhof and if you can't find street parking there is a nearby garage. The food, service and ambiance were just as we remembered. We were greeted and welcomed by a hostess, server and even the owner. You can tell there are a lot of regular local customers. We had lunch specials that included tomato soup. The schnitzel was thin, light and perfectly prepared and so were the fries. Some of the best I've ever found. Worth a stop anytime we're near Koblenz.

Yesterday, old friends took us for breakfast - and I hate to say it, but it was less than average, and the service was not only inattentive, but the execution was awful - and any product that did not come from the bakery was less than average. The salami and turkey was ... cheap. The four of us hated it. Then, it took three attempts to get a soft boiled egg - and it arrived 30 mins after breakfast. Once the service had cleaned our plates, it just disappeared. We sat there for another hour - as you do in Germany - and they did not even ask if we cared for anything else. I would understand if the place was packed - but at this particular time, two-thirds of the tables were vacant. They did not even bother to bring the check - we had to find someone to pay. Sorry, as much as I love your place, if I had to pick a place where to go today, I'd rather risk checking out any new place than going again. And again, this comes from a customer who has been at least 100 times in the last 30 years.
