I guess there's not much to tell about this store as many of you know it already, but this is one…read moreof the stores I'm very ambivalent about. On the one hand - there's a cool interior design and great atmosphere. On the other hand - it can get a bit messy sometimes (especially around the sale section in the store) On the one hand - really cool books, records and just random stuff scattered all around the store. On the other hand - crazy high prices for stuff you can sometimes get for much less of you wont buy it there. On the one hand - really cool clothes and interesting collections with some unique items On the other hand - 35 euros for a crop shirt? Not really... I understand its a brand but there's really no justification for the pricing besides paying for the branding itself. For some reason I still like going into this store, mostly leave empty handed, maybe you won't.

They totally screwed up my order. Somehow they didn't put my Hausnummer on the package so Hermes couldn't find my house. Right now, my order is lost, somewhere, no one knows where. It's a camera and I was waiting for it to arrive in time because they said shipping takes 3-5 days. Well, it's been a week now. We'll see when my package will arrive. Hopefully anytime soon. Bummer though.

A male model once recommended this thrift store to me for secondhand Barbour jackets, and well, I…read moretrusted his suggestion because he probably knew what he was doing in the sartorial department. You can buy a brand spanking new jacket at the Barbour store down the street for full price or a questionable scum-covered jacket from a Mauerpark vendor on Sundays. Or a reasonably priced (and clean enough) secondhard jacket from Made in Berlin that passes Barbour's official authenticity verification. One of my old college roommates had grown up in a very old money suburb in the Northeast and was completely aghast that I had purchased a Barbour jacket at a thrift store, saying that it went against the complete philosophy of Barbour jackets. But really, I was thrifting in one of the coolest and hippest cities in the world. Pigs would sooner fly before I could pass for a bonafide East Coast preppy WASP. Head to the lower level -- you'll find a rack or two of men's Barbour jackets and perhaps ten women's jackets, most of which are on the bigger side. Don't fret though, because they'll restock eventually. There are also a good number of Barbour lookalikes if you aren't terribly fussed about brands. All in all, Made in Berlin is a bit expensive for a secondhand store, but at least they take card?

The owner was very polite, good at his job and I ended up with buying 4 lamps for 480 euros. We made a deal about sending the lamps to Odense, my hometown. I have tried to phone the owner without any luck. What do I do ? Greetings Lise

Paul's Boutique is a great boutique! I mean, it is really-really good…read more But, more than simply a boutique and a place where you can get some nice vintage clothing and other items, this place is a guitar repair shop. Yes, a guitar repair shop. As a lifelong guitarist, I was very impressed by some of the truly unique vintage guitars they have hanging on their walls. Many of them come from the era of later 1960s and into the 1970s where there was a lot of guitar modifications going on. These guitars are an ideal example of that era. The great thing is, they have not been changed back to their original condition, as is commonly the case in the world of today. But, they have been allowed to keep the true uniqueness of the modification that were made. If nothing else, these guitars are a true nod to the history of the guitar and great pieces of wall-handing art. Of course, the guitars are just one small segment of what this shop has to offer. They also have tons of great clothing, and a little bit of everything else. Great place to shop!
