Alessa is a gelato and coffee place that offers much more than that. They have desserts, macarons, savory snacks and different drinks. The place is spacious with a modern, minimalist decor. We ordered coffees, a pistachio gelato and a raspberry ice cream that was molded in the shape of a rose, on top of a cake slice with chocolate sauce. My coffee had doce de leite and whip cream. It was delicious. I was a little disappointed with the gelato. They didn't taste of fresh raspberries and the pistachio had a strong pistachio essence taste. I had a scoop of pistachio (excellent) and a scoop of banana, topped with a waffle cone filled with molten chocolate. I also had an espresso that came with an adorable cookie and sparkling water. They have an impressive selection of popsicles. I will try to go back before I leave town. So good.
