The Aldi store itself has affordable prices, but isn't the best in terms of stock. A good choice for shoppers on a budget. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience today with a cashier named 'Asha', and will not be returning again. I wanted to buy some beers and she asked for our ID. My sister offered her ID but I didn't have mine on me as I was on the way to the gym. I wanted to ask if they accepted a photo of my ID, but instead of bothering to hear me out, she went rambling on about their store policy with an attitude. After several attempts, my sister said 'excuse me he's trying to talk to you' and finally got her attention. Upon confirming that they could not accept a photo of my ID, I calmly told her that it's no problem, that I'll just put the beers back to the shelves. When I reached out to put the beer away, she snatched it away from me aggressively, retorting that I cant touch it since I don't have ID. I was simply offering to put the beers back for her as a favor, and in return, I was met with her awful, passive-aggressive attitude for no reason. This is in no way how a customer should be treated. I'll be shopping at Coles or Woolworths nearby from now on to avoid interacting with this jerk named 'Asha'. read more
