While it made a huge mess of the hotel room, it was perfectly delicious and satisfying. Wine (some chilled), some produce, canned goods, ready-to-heat foods, juices, meats, cheese, frozen meals. While maybe you couldn't do a full home shop here, you can definitely get enough for your hotel room or your apartment. Prices seemed decent but I wasn't checking that closely. Like anywhere, some things cost a little more, some even a little less. Some of the other lower cost grocery stores have rotating items so you might not find some things in stock but you will probably find most everything you are looking for here. If you're American and saving receipts for VAT, they don't have a very clearly defined process here. We did it for a month but it was so confusing and such a headache that we've decided to just use edeka for our one of needs and go to different stores to save our VAT receipts. Will I return?
