There is a recycling center on the left where you can recycle paper, cardboard, plastic and batteries, which is convenient. I like this location because service is very friendly, like unusually friendly. Almost everyone who works there is very pleasant. There is a decent selection of glass-bottled beer, not the plastic beer you'll find at other discount chains. The last time I was there, they had Ben & Jerry's ice cream - multiple flavors! What a pleasant surprise! This location is also quieter and less crowded than the Papenburg location which is why I prefer it.

It's a discount market but it's also kind of dirty. I like the Netto brand because the prices are…read morevery competitive but you have to look out for things like debris at the entrance and moldy raspberries, two things I encountered the last time I was there. It's the same Netto grocery store but I actually prefer the one in Aschedorf, which has friendlier people and a better selection. There is an ample drink selection, which includes brand name Fanta. The last time I was there I couldn't find unsalted butter, only salted. I can't remember if they never have it or if they were just out. I have the Deutschland Card for points but they do not ask if you have it. I remember to hand it over to be scanned. In all, this location is ok if you need a Netto but I would go the extra distance to the superior Aschendorf location.

Or maybe it's just me but I found Lay's Sour Cream & Onion and Salt & Vinegar chips here but not at my regular, older, less nice Netto. Like other Nettos, they have a pump hand sanitizer available at the entrance that no one but myself uses. And you have to bring a cart inside (because it's Covid times). The service is nothing special, nothing beyond what you'd expect. They don't ask every customer if they have the DeutschlandCard so don't forget to show it when you check out.
