This is not the case anymore, but since its World Cup time and France qualified, I wanted to head over to see if I could find some French World Cup stuff. Coca Cola often does WC related stuff, so that was my main objective.
Now Auchan is like a lot of large chain stores in Europe - they do both food and also everything else. If you've been to one, then you know what I mean.
The store is located inside a shopping mall. Well, not really a mall but just outside it (but inside the building) are some different stores - Leonadis chocolate, shoe stores, etc. As I went inside, the first thing there, on the right was the electronics section with tv's, dvd's, the usual stuff. There was also a large section of DVD movies and lots were on sale, so pretty good value there. (Make sure you check to see that the movie is also in English since the Frenchies like dubbing everything.)
I didn't bother with the clothing section but went straight for the food. Yeah, found some Coke's but nothing special really for WC. The fish section is the best - great deals on different types of fish. And of course the wine section is really, really good - still. The place has practically everything and is worth a visit.
