My wife and I came back to see family and friends for the holidays and did our initial grocery shopping - essentials like water, coffee, app. $100.
First, their attitude has changed big time. I politely asked where I would possibly find item X - and was brushed off with "if we have it, it must be somewhere over there - vaguely pointing to three-quarters of the remaining store. We did not find it.
When checking out, my wife asked the checkout guy, who appeared to be new and in training if he needs to scan the 20-lb bag of mineral water or if he knew the code. He politely said I know the code - and his supervisor snapped "we need to scan all the codes", so we shifted the 20lbs onto the belt.
Once home we found out that the bought strawberries were full of mold, the basil died a day later. We will not go again.
