Off Licence department very reasonable and extensive, often has offers on beer and wine and champagne. Great fresh fish counter and butchery. Fantastic value all under one roof. Only black mark I would give it is that the sale by dates are often very nearly out of date but great for a large family with big and healthy appetites.

It's surprisingly well-stocked for a town the size of Langport and has a good range of products. It's maybe more expensive than Tesco in Yeovil (or maybe we are just seduced into buying better quality goods here). It even had a supply of Polish goods for the locals. We can get a months' worth of groceries here in a hour at very good value (although not everything is significantly cheaper than main supermarkets). There isn't the same range of goods, but that's okay with us. However, we rarely buy fresh fruit and veg here as we tend to find it only lasts a couple of days. So a trip to Lidls is usually followed by a trip to another shop for the fruit and salad and maybe one or two other bits. Staff are polite at the tills. Yeovil Iceland does not have its own parking you need to park in the shopping centre which is pay and display but that is not much of a problem to be honest. The store is a bit of a pain to navigate around as the rows are not very wide so it is a bit manic at busy times and when a couple of trolleys try to pass. I find Iceland has some amazing offers but it is very limited so you cannot do your completely weekly shop in there. There is not much in the way of fresh produce. The checkout moves very quickly in Iceland and i seem to be able to complete the weekly shop very quicky and it is completly stress free! Always get my prescriptions there; great staff again and excellent service. So yes, I recommend and am very pleased to do so.

The store inself is quite big you can buy books, dvd's, clothes, toys, tv's, electricals as well as groceries. I don't think there is as much choice or variety as the old store had but there is a lot of extra stuff like non grocery items that there weren't before. The queues are always supprisingly short in this tesco store there are a lot of tills and self scans to use. The help dest is inside the store rather than near the door which is a bit of a pain it is like a one way system so it is annoying to have to do another lap to get to customer services. The Tesco also has a garage where you can buy some items such as sweets, milk, rolls, car stuff and snacks. I like this store but the car park stresses me out!!

Drivers entering and leaving the store were harassed into drinking free samples of regular beer and cider in a sales push. The floor of Tesco was filthy with mud and earth on this date. Tesco management and the authorities who gave the alcohol licence should be thrown out of the EU because in my opinion they are insane.
