You know I waited to do this review because I definitely needed to think on it for a bit . I used to be huge on this store loved to do most of my shopping here for my produce ( fresh fruits and veggies ) as they usually have the best selection and value. Honestly the past several times I have been here though nothing. The prices are the same as my local food lion and there shelves are bare . I am fully aware we are living in a time of crisis and soaring prices so listen I'm not trying to hold this against them as I'm very aware of the reality we are now living in. However the one thing that should still remain is compassion and patience for everyone. I have a huge soft spot for the most vulnerable in this world ( our children, elderly, and animals). What I witnessed here more than upset me. As my daughter and I were leaving after making our purchase we noticed the cutest little elderly gentleman checking out . A gallon of milk that's was it that was all he had and he was paying for this with change. As he very kindly counted each coin out and placed it into the hand of the lady checking him out she huffed and rolled her eyes so many times it was ABSOLUTELY the most ridiculous thing I have witnessed in a long time. $3.42 I believe was what he counted out to her no line behind him and over that she felt the need to be rude and disrespectful to another human being. There are always eyes watching your every move when you are in public setting today there was a 9 year old little girl who had more sense than the adult employee who was behind this counter she noticed how rude you were being and it bothered her so bad we waited in the parking lot to be sure he was able to purchase his milk. Your store employee made a huge impact on my daughter today and not for the right reasons either. She got to witness exactly what she never wants to be. It has been about a week now and what I witnessed is still bothering me. Your customers are just that they are the reason you get to wake up go to work and collect a paycheck. No matter how they are paying .This gentleman probably worked his butt off at one point in his life and now lives on a budget. Either way today he was a PAYING customer it cost him 3.42 to purchase the same milk that use to cost him a fraction of the price and he choose YOUR store . It cost your employee $0 to be a kind compassionate human I mean dang they're getting paid to do a job and they absolutely failed today . I recently moved here from Los Angeles, and Aldi is the best grocery store I've found in the city. I've tried Lowe's, Food Lion (best beer selection so far, actually), and Walmart - they just couldn't compete. Aldi is actually really similar to Trader Joe's, and their selection of cheeses and organic foods really surprised me. The prices are incredibly low for the quality of food you get. The turnover is high, and this is the only grocery store I've been to in town where I felt comfortable buying lettuces for salads (the other grocery stores' lettuces looked spoiled). They have romaine, iceberg, kale, spring mixes, arugula, and even a delicious hydroponic artisanal blend (all very affordable). The salad dressings are great, and the rest of the produce is mostly great as well. I've noticed some mold issues with some softer vegetables at the end of the day, but that happens everywhere - even Whole Foods! Can we talk about the cheeses again for a minute? We need to, because you won't be disappointed. Aged cheddars, smoked gouda, chevre - they have lots of great, affordable options. The charcuterie are great too! You can easily put together an impressive charcuterie platter for a party without having to trek all the way to Greensboro. read more

There was a time I would say 4 maybe 5 but this time I would give a negative 10 if I could. I was there today and the cashier there was so nasty to me and my mother I was in disbelief. Not alone did she give us both attitude and talk to us like we were stupid she throw all my mothers groceries in her car. She said she was doing her job but I've been there before and they have places the groceries in the cart. Her name I believe was Margaret! She is a young Spanish girl with a beauty mark in her case (ugly mark) on the right side of her upper lip. Sje also told my mother who is a older women that she cant take her cart that my mother got from outside and told her she needs to go back outside and get another cart. This store is disguising! When my mother complained to management she could care less . We will never go her again. I hope the owner gets word of this experience read more

I went in to purchase a few things and got to the register to check out, got all the items on the belt and the girl began checking them out when she got to some canned food she told me there was a limit on the items and there were signs stating that I did not see the signs and said so she proceeded to tell me there were and I simply said I did not see them the male cashier be hind me joined in telling me they were on both sides (I don't know what that ment.) I also told him i did not see them he again told me they were there I had already said I did not see them the female kept mouthing me and I asked her to stop yelling she said it was her normal speaking voice that is when the male came over and told me I would not disrespect the female ALL I SAID WAS I DID NOT SEE THE SIGNS. I paid and the male got in my face and told me to go ahead by that i got the meaning to be to hit him I did not go for a fight with anyone I went to get some groceries that is all so I guess if you want a fight with your shopping experience Aldi's is your store Thanks to Crystal the female for making my shopping experience one I will never forget it was the worst I have EVER had at 60 years old. read more

Let's start by saying they are not perfect but no one is. They have good prices, good turnover and no long checkout lines. I have found the employees and customers to be friendly. If they had a larger store it would be better but they do have the basic items. They have a feedback site that really works. Over the last 2 years I have left feedback for a couple of issues I had. In both cases I received a call from their headquarters to discuss the issues and they were quickly resolved. It is the store I prefer to purchase from. read more

I love Aldi! This by far is the greatest grocery store! Great prices for non brand name things. But, if u can get passed that then you will definitely save alot of money, more than goin to a big grocery chain. Have different specials each week on great items. Better items for parties and or get togethers such as wine parties, superbowl parties, new years parties ect. Without the long lines & long wait as other stores. read more
