I love this church. I've gone here for about 5 years, and while there have been rocky moments, we…read moreare going strong. The children have different areas based off of age group. The infants are in the nursery, 2&3 year olds have a room, and preschool praise hosts preschool, as the name suggests. The elementary schoolers also have their own group, kid's worship, which also includes 6th graders. Once they are a bona fide 7th grader, they move to the Youth group. The Youth group now has it's own student center, where they also meet up every Wednesday evening, from around 6:00-7:30 (sometimes closer to 8:00.) The Youth group has a multitude of activities planned, and so does the church itself. One such event was a Ladies' Luncheon, where we talked about God, dating, and even had a wedding dress fashion show! Every Sunday there are two services, 9:30 and 10:30, as well as Life Groups. There is something for everyone, and it all focuses on God!

The pastor Dennis Jennings is very friendly and has made the church inviting and welcoming. I would encourage anybody to come here in search of God or a place to call home. This is the home of the Greek Festival, I've been going for three years now and it's something I…read morelook forward to every year. If you are not Greek, go to the festival and be Greek for a day! One of the friendliest festival's, everyone is dancing with Greek music playing in the background. Our family instantly felt at home and part of the group, there are bounce house's for the kids. The food is good Greek fare, served hot and fresh. Really enjoyed the Tiropita and Spanakopita, can't decide which one I liked better. The gyros and chicken skewers are very good, grab a Mythos beer and you are set for a Greek lunch. We bring our kids and everybody just has a great time. From the first time we went we really felt like part of the family here, the people are supper friendly. The last two times we went it was a little crowded for table space so we sat down with total strangers to eat and had a great time talking to them. It's hard to explain the atmosphere you kind of have to go and experience it for your self. I'm not sure what the other reviewer is talking about feeling out of place. Generally I am not a fan of big crowds, but here it's different, never felt more at home at a festival as I have here at the Greek Fest. This will be year four for us and there will be many more after. Don't forget to check out the merchandise tent, some very unique gifts or dress up in togas and get your picture taken Greek style! Opa!
