Before setting up as a combined business venture our staff had backgrounds in locksmithing, joinery and engineering. By combining our different skill sets we realised we had more chance of creating a long term business which would meet all customers needs.
Meet the Business Owner: Danny K.
I have done many things since leaving school. I started a vehicle body repair aprenticeship when I was 15. I did this until I was 20 years old, although I enjoyed the job I realised breathing in dust and paint fumes all my life was not a good thing. From here I thought I would do a postman job until I decided what I really wanted to do in life, before I knew it another 8 years had passed by!
after moving into my new house i called out a locksmith to repair my upvc back door. I Knew right there this is what I wanted to do in life. I was totally hooked with all the different aspects of the job. Within a few weeks I had completed an intense training course. However I soon realised when you get into the real world of locksmithing this course was quite useless: it only teaches you about 15% of what you need to be comptant in the job. This is when I asked an old local locksmith to take me on as an apprentice, luckily for me he accepted and we have been the best of friends ever since ;-)
