Did a major demo done at my home with landscaping and we wanted to refresh our pool area but had 20 years of growth of bamboo and Eureka Palms both over 30 feet tall and I think they were 12 Eureka's. The demolition they did took five days and could not have been more professional Justin who was the project manager is awesome easy to talk to and really good at what he does if you have a project to do that has to do with demo of Landscaping than Albright as the place for you. The quality of work was unmatched. It was a little pricey, but for the amount of work, it was fair but if you want a first class quality job done give Justin at Albright a call and he'll take care of you. You're not just another customer you become a friend. That was important as well to work with nice people who actually work very very hard. We divided our yard into demo & design. They did a great job of demolishing our entire yard but when it came to the design of our new yard, we just couldn't get on the same page. It took 5+ full days for demo and we paid them for that before even going into the design phase. That's where things broke down. Reducing from 2 stars to one, even more plants have died in last few months or needed to be moved, all because they were planted too close to other plants so couldn't survive. Complete waste of 5k. Only thing that's doing well are the Clausia's they put in next to pool cage and could have just spent $1500 on those. read more

They landscaped our front yard but then did not back up their work . I sent them a bunch of pictures of bushes , shrubs and a big expensive Bismarck Palm that are not doing well . We waited a year for them to mature but they are all half dead . Disappointing : ( read more

True Professionals - Continue to impress. Albright continues to impress! We've had them come by a few months ago and do some landscaping. We've a couple of small issues and every time they come back out and make it right. This weekend we discovered that during the first landscaping project one of our sprinkler heads was broken. We hadn't noticed for 3 months since this zone always runs at am but this morning they came out and in 15 minutes the head was fixed. No questions - their employees always have a smile. Met with John about landscaping a front fenced area to camouflage a shed we'd be erecting in the backyard. I thought we had a meeting of the minds, but that certainly was NOT the case. I thought we had discussed plants/foliage/greenery for the entire length of the fence and thought that's what the pricing included. I was also told that though they do not do curbing, they could add a border to very closely match the existing curbing. The crew was very good and hard working; however, either John failed to fully brief them on the job or I should have more closely supervised the work being done. The 'full fence' landscaping only went two-thirds of the way down the fence line. Honestly, a HUGE area at the end of the fence with zero landscaping! (Oh, and they were just about to add the permanent cement 'curbing'). We had them move a plant from the back yard to the empty spot and then finish the curbing around that. I expected a small charge (felt it was worth maybe $200 for time and materials) for the curbing, but we were charged an additional $600!! Also, John is not really a designer as a lay person would use the term. We needed a pad/foundation for 7'x10' shed - I said I was thinking a pad about 15'x15' so there'd be space around it. I showed him the area we wanted it (back of the yard where three sides would be surrounded by the fence). My fault, I didn't measure the area first - wish I had because rather than reassess the location when the crew discovered it wasn't 15', the crew simply moved the pad further out to the middle of yard and already had a fairly permanent foundation before I discovered this. This left a fairly large area behind the shed that is now completely inaccessible and unusable, and because of where they placed the landscaping in that area, it is impossible to use for storage. Oh, and because it would be difficult to mow/maintain, we ended up having the area finished with rock (at a cost of $1,600 or so). So, the front of the house. . .there was an area under a window that had no plants whatsoever. John suggested some hedging type plants surrounded by blue my minds. One would naturally think the hedges would go under the window and the smaller plants would be evenly placed in the remaining area to completely fill the void. Nope - the hedge thing is under the window, but the twenty blew my minds are split with ten on either side and a 2-3 foot empty space right in the middle. Seriously, what is up with these guys and blank spaces/spacing of plants? John did not render any drawings. I had a sketch I put together that had a semblance of what I had envisioned the space to look like that I used during my initial and subsequent discussions with John. I guess that's why I felt there was an understanding. This was very, very expensive. It doesn't really look like it though - honestly, looks like something I could've done myself. So, so, so thoroughly disappointed. I would not recommend Albright because of the undesigned project, the excessive added costs, the lack of the crew to properly space the plants, the lack of the crew to stop and raise the flag when something didn't look right. Oh, and, after the excessive cost and adders, I see them loading up bags of mulch and pavers that I'm pretty sure were included in the price I paid. read more

Contracted with them in March 2015 for landscape design, install and install outside lights. Spent mid 4 figures. They responded promptly and did a quick job. Their cost for labor based on time spent was on the very high per hour calculation. Have an issue with 1/2 the lights not working, discussed with manufacture, had landscape maintenance who cuts lawn check all wiring and no cuts observed. called twice to Albright and requested they try to diagnose, and won't return phone calls. May not be there problem but a professional, responsive and consumer friendly company would respond and try to help. find another company to do your work. read more

I have a collapsed fiberglass pool in my back yard. I contracted with them to fill in pool and install sod. Although I requested several times that the entire area of my back yard look nice when completed, they just flung some sod on top of broken concrete and refused to extend the sod an additional foot to the fence line. More than once before the job was completed I told the sales person that the old concrete had to be removed before the sod was installed, this was not done for proper installation of the sod. Initially they also left a 2 foot by 3 foot area by the back door of just some dirt on top of the existing old concrete. When I pointed out no one could come in by that door without dragging in dirt, they did fling some nasty old sod by the back door. But, because the sod was not properly installed, the grade has been raised in that area of the yard, runoff has flooded the house and the backdoor is virtually unusable. What professional would just fling sod on top of broken concrete and think this was appropriate? This cost me over $7,000. I could have just hired a handy man for far less and received the same or better result. read more
