This is the first bad review that I've had to write unfortunately. Don't order with Instacart if you want groceries from a grocery store, download their app and go through their app and order your food. It is much cheaper, especially with Albertsons. I order for Albertsons all the time for some reason today I went through Instacart and ordered from Albertsons. My groceries came to $72.20. I was charged $109.93 so $40 Were delivery fees for something which I don't understand.. I called Instacart. They never did really fully explain about the $40 they told me about two dollars here three dollars there. I just got so disgusted. I just told Instacart I will never Order through you ever again . so I'm just telling you, so this will not happen to anyone else . If you need groceries go through the groceries store app, download their app on your phone and just go through their app because Albertson when I go through the app, it's much much cheaper I would've never had to pay $40 almost $40 for delivery fees. As usual, this store is constantly out of stock of their special items, Today, Monday 5/11, it was their $5.99 8-piece chickens, filet mignon at $19.95 a pound, eggs at $1.99, and ALL half gallions of milk etc. And, this store continues to sell well out of date products.....particularly SALE ice creams. Buyer Beware. Also, on this visit, the toilet seat was broken and they were out of toilet paper. Someone should be checking BOTH things hourly!!! read more

This Albertson's is so frustrating. I just went in for Rib Eye Steaks. And once again, like before, they didn't have any! So I look for New York Strip. Nope, nothing! So I drive up to Stater Bros and....they have DOZENS to choose from! So I bought two Rib Eye's and now home grilling them. How can a grocery store not have Rib Eye Steak?! I purchased Signature Cafe Lemon Pepper Whole Roasted Chicken at the Banning, CA location. The chicken was dried out and all torn up in the package. It had (4) drumsticks, (3) wings and some pieces of breast meat. Either someone made a mistake, or it was a deformed chicken. The chicken looked like pieces were just thrown in the bag. I would have taken it back, but it was dinner for us, and we had company over. I was embarrassed to serve them this chicken. The chicken was $8.99 and said it was Lemon Pepper chicken but didn't taste like it. I'm disappointed with Albertsons as their roasted chicken has been getting smaller and more expensive. read more

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. Let me tell you why. I visit here often to see my parents and I always go grocery shopping with them and we hit the deli first. Out the many times I have been here not once have we been helped in a friendly matter, the employees behind the counter will look you directly in the eye and flat out ignore you! They are freaking rude, they don't know anything about customer service and they will purposely take 5x longer to do the job just to drag it out. After saying please and thank you, they don't even look at you and frankly don't work a job if you have no sense of human decency. How it takes 15-20 for a half pound of freaking turkey is beyond me. Fix it, do better and treat people with respect. I treated her with respect in the beginning and at the end you get what you get. read more

Me and my mom went to the produce section trying to look for good fruit. We were unaware of how to pick out good melons so we asked Sebastian, who is in the produce area to help us pick out a couple melons. We've been shopping at this store 2 - 3 times a week since we moved to the area in 1999. We've seen a lot of employees come and go, but always a good experience. Service has improved and most everyone is friendly. Our favorite is Tiffany! Always a smile and nice conversation. The only issue is keeping things in stock. read more

Getting there: From the 10 fwy, exit south, Highland Springs and you'll be able to see it from the freeway. Parking doesn't get too bad here even though this store shares a parking lot with other businesses. The past five orders have included produce that was very old, wilted, brown and just plain nasty. Today, I gave them ONE MORE try. I put notes in my order asking for fresh produce. I even called the store ahead of time and begged for fresh produce in my order. I was given assurances by the manager I would. But I just got my order (delivered), and nope! I stopped in here to pick up a quart of milk, I went to the cooler and noticed that all the quart milk cartons, where the expiration date is, all the quarts were turned around where you could not see the date! And everyone of the quarts of milk was expired by at least 4-5 days past the expiration date! I guess they took the time to turn everyone of the quarts around but did not take the time to remove them from the cooler to keep you from buying them! I noticed a young man stocking the dairy case, and asked him to come over to the milk case where I discovered the out of date milk still for sale, he started being very obnoxious, being a smartass, and almost refusing to see the out of date milk, I insisted that he remove all the milk, and he was very hesitant to do so! So he must have been the one to turn them around and wanted to sell them so he would not be identified as the person that does not rotate the very stock he is responsible for!!! If you shop here, make sure that everything is within the recommended sale date!!!! You have been warned that the employees, maybe not all of them, but a good number of them really don't care!!! read more

today at 11/19 /24 at 10:30 AM my wife and I . We're wanting to buy some flowers. we saw some flowers for a dozen, but we noticed that there were missing too. We asked the person that was in charge. of the flower section she was a young Latina woman. I simply asked her that the science says 12 dozen per bundle and there was only 10 and before I could say another word. She responded with a bad attitude. Not the type of service you expect. she answered I am not the boss before I can finish my sentence. I felt discriminated by it. Did he know if it was because of my broken English. Then she went up and left walking away from us every time I go I get good customer service and I expect good customer service from there. maybe they need to. Train these young people how to treat customers with respect because the customers are the ones who help them get their paychecks. read more

I never have a good experience when I come here. The location is convenient, but worth find to Staters instead. Always very long line for one register. Getting help to find an item is near impossible. Most recently I asked a cashier for help and was told "I'm going to pull the line". I have no idea what that means. I had to ask again two more time and raise my voice to get a different response that makes sense. That must have been a temporary extra line. I get back in the other line with about 8 people waiting for 10 min. Moral of the story, don't use internal jargon that patrons won't understand and get not cashier's. This store has gone down in the last few years. The meat in the display box has brown edges. That parking lot is always trashy. I've attached pics from 6am. The lot looks like it is never swept. This store was always the cleanest and was my go to sire but now, I don't know what's going on. Hope management can see this and do something about this. read more

My family and I have been shopping at this store for over 15 years. Unfortunately the customer service is terrible and no matter how many changes the company has tried to make, nothing gets better customer service wise. On numerous visits cashiers have been extremely rude, stockers are unfriendly, associates complain and I hear this regularly. I have spoken to a GM who I could tell wanted to make changes but couldn't fix the problem so he relocated. Since then there have been a few mgrs come and go, it is disappointing to see because I believe overall Albertsons has some great buys and always has sales which bring me in and I end up spending more. Today was another poor experience, the cashier basically threw the items at my mother as she was trying to bag her own groceries. All because she could not figure out how to do the raincheck. We are very polite people, we say hello, please thank you, and we wait our turn. The cashier upset my mother and we had to speak w the assistant mgr.. who I hope takes this matter seriously.. although im sure it will be swept under the rug. So now after numerous attempts to let this poor service go, we are going to have to make another store our primary shopping location after giving this Albertsons numerous chances to get better. read more

Albertsons in Banning I refuse to shop at. The community here are mostly 55-year-old plus, living in retirement communities. This grocery store is gouging the senior citizens, and it's a shame. " Ashley, Center of Store Manager was Awesome " I just moved to the Beaumont, CA area and started going to the Albertsons in Banning, on Highland Springs Ave. I love playing the Monopoly game that Albertson's does every year, so I played it the entire season and had a lot of Free Monopoly prize coupons I needed to cash in with the store before the ending date in May. And of course as I went to the Albertsons store many times and scanned my " Just for U " list of prizes for me to pick up on my phone, a lot of the specific items were always out of stock. I saw Ashley, the Center of the Store Manager in one of the isles, and I asked her what I was supposed to do with all of the Free Prize coupons since so many of them were out of stock. I told her I had come back to the store many times, and the Free items were still out of stock. Ashley was so nice and had a very bubbly personality. Ashley apologized for my inconvenience and she walked around the store with me checking all of the prize coupons making sure I had the correct items. Because so many of the items that I was supposed to get for free were missing, Ashley said because of all the times I had been into the store trying to cash out the Free Monopoly coupons, and nothing was there on the shelves for me, to just take the closest priced and weighted item next to the one on the coupon, and she would OK that with the cashier when I checked out. That is the greatest and nicest way to handle and treat customers by putting them #1 on the list of items to handle in the store. What a great Manager, and the way she handles the Center of the Store is Awesome, look at the pictures I took ! In stead of being frustrated about coming back over and over to see if the Monopoly Free coupon items were on the shelves, Ashley handled it perfectly, and made me want to return many times to Albertson's because of the way she handled my situation. Cashiers act bored to borderline belligerent. Products are not stocked sufficiently and you better check expirations dates because they will sell old milk and cheese! This store sells expired milk and other dairy products all the time! Check the expiration dates or you will get spoiled milk. read more

Let me start saying normally the people who work at this Albertsons are very friendly and nice. Today May 18, 2024 at about 2:30 pm, I was attempting to make a purchase at the meat department. I was the only customer waiting for service. At the time there was only one employee working at the meat counter. I waited over 11 minutes for service. The employee clearly saw me, but ignored me. I describe this person so management knows who he is. A white male with a pierced nose ring and many other facial piercings. He was busy wrapping meat products for display, but I'm guessing the policy would be to wait on the consumer first. Let me make it clear we made eye contact, but he ignored me. I'm not happy about this encounter. I spend thousands at this store yearly. Maybe he should be moved to an area without customer contact. One more experience like this and I'm sticking with Stater Brothers. Let's see if Albertsons deals with this. I will let you know. read more

It amazing the price difference between this Albertsons and the surrounding grocery stores. It's obvious they rip off the seniors in the surrounding communities. I have seen the difference in the groceries I shop for on an emergency basis when I need one thing fast. I recently purchased a bunch of sample size toiletries for stocking stuffers at Wal-Mart for $1.49 each. I just saw them at Albertsons for $3.99 to $5.99. Absolutely a rip off. Sunday November 7th 5pm. Tried to buy items from the Deli. Waited for 30 minutes while the one worker helped a family and basically fed them at the deli counter. 30 minutes slicing pepperoni and cheese all the while feeding the familia at the counter while other customers waiting to buy items. Got tired of waiting so grabbed some sushi and went to the checkout only to find only one cashier open who was having trouble ringing out a customer. Waiting again in the only open line. Now 45 minutes trying to get something to eat. We finally got frustrated and left leaving our food behind. Went over to Stater Brothers, in and out in less than 5 minutes with great service. Albertsons employees need to work a day at Stater Brothers and see the difference. read more
