Whatever you do do NOT hire Alberto's towing. They claim they can handle any job and get there within an hour. When I gave them two hours notice they arrived 3 DAYS LATER and then decided to try to shake me down for more money. Additionally, they claim to be available 24 hours but didnt answer their phone until normal business hours. I've never seen a more unprofessional towing service in my life. Beware---Crooks! Bullies! Scam artists! Recently I locked my keys and my bag and phone in the car at a local Walmart. There was a security guard walking in the parking lot and I explained the situation and asked if I could use his phone to Google my roadside service provider and call them. "HE" Googles it and dials the number and hands me the phone. And I guess being stressed out I didn't particularly pay attention to the number he dialed. I started the conversation by saying I am a member of Ford Roadside Assistance, but I am calling from someone else's phone (because they pull up the account from the phone number) and asked if he could pull up my account--- the guy on the phone says yes! and takes down my information--- never did he say, you are speaking with a private towing company. So I am thinking that I am on the phone with Ford Roadside Assistance. I ask when I can expect someone and he says in about half an hour. Sometime later a tow truck shows up. Right away the first thing I asked the driver is if he was from Ford Roadside Assistance, but he just ignored me and got out of the truck and said " you called for a lockout"-- I confirmed that and he proceeded to unlock the car. Then he says, how do you want to pay? That will be $100! So I asked him what he meant and that it's included in my Ford Roadside contract. Then he tells me they don't do Club roadside only towing! And that this is a private company! I told him I made it very clear when I called that I had roadside service and if they didn't cover it they should have clarified that during the call. Instead he tells me that his partner gave me a quote on the phone! Which he did not and we confirmed that with the security guard as the call was on speaker phone!!! I offered to call FRA and ask them to send Alberto's Towing for a lockout so that he could get paid. But they don't do lockouts through Clubs because it doesn't pay them the rate they find acceptable. They only do towing. He wanted me to call Ford Roadside and spin a tale about needing to be towed so that they could get paid the RATE that they deemed worthy of their time!!! He never clarified that over the phone, never gave me an estimate and lied about it. Also the driver told me that before he even starts, when he gets to a job he always asks what price his partner agreed to. But he did not do that with me. He just jumped right into unlocking the car. He blocked my car and threatened to tow it away and his partner came down and blocked my car too! I called the police, but they were useless. They just felt that I should pay even though this was clearly a scam job. It's sad and despicable that companies like this get away with their bad behavior and bullying tactics. Update: In reference to your response--- the call was on speaker phone and the security guard confirmed to your partner that there was no mention of money. But as they say " the proof is in the pudding". Why would I agree to pay $100 or even $75 when I have free service? read more

21st Century sent me a message at 9:12 saying Alberto's towing was going to arrive at my destination around 10:12am. I called the them to check when they would be arriving. Not only did they not dispatch a truck to my destination although they had my info on file from 21st, they also were so rude it brought me to tears. No one deserves to be treated like an idiot for simply asking for an ETA update. Will definitely never use nor recommend this towing company. Horrible customer service. read more

These guys are great! Class act. Driver took an extra job even though he was off to get to me sooner than later rather than making me wait for the other truck to finish their drop. Brand new clean rigs. Driver was super friendly. Towed my fleet vehicle back to yard, but just discussing prices with driver for personal tows, they seem way more reasonable than companies I've used in the past. Assigned through Geico roadside assistance. Called the towing company to confirm the quoted arrival time and to let him know what level of the parking garage my vehicle was on. The owner answered and I told him my name and I had order for a row for his company via Geico. He said "I'll call you back" and hung up. After about 20 mins I called him back since he did not call me back. Received a "this voice mailbox has not been setup" message. The owner finally called me back and let me know that they would be there in 30 mins, did not acknowledge they would be late. When I explained I was in jeopardy of losing my time slot to get my car fixed at the repair shop I lined up, he said he would try to put a rush on it. 20mins later the driver then called and said he would be another 20 mins. I asked what was going on and what was causing the delay, he said he was just the driver. The driver arrived with a pick-up pulling a flat bed not a tow truck. The driver was not sure if he could tow me because it was in a garage and the clearance may be too low. He drove away without saying anything else and just left me there. Note: This happened around 2018-19. I had to repost due to a defect that moved this back to an unpublished draft in Yelp. read more

My car was towed for a missing "permit sticker" on private property. That would be fine if the permit stickers wasn't affixed to the window but in fact it was. The landlord failed to see the sticker and had my vehicle towed. I called Alberto's towing company to inform them of the clear misunderstanding and was talked over by an unprofessional reprentative who informed me that it wasn't "their problem" and that I would need to pay 400 dollars to get my vehicle out of their lot. When I tried to reason with them I was hung up on. Incredibly unprofessional behavior. I ended up having to pay 400 dollars because neither the landlord not the tow truck driver took a second to look at the parking permit sticker staring them in the face. read more

Unfortunately, some mix ups happened with the addresses which put him another 20 minutes out but he was extremely gracious to honor the standing quote even though there was extra labor. Albert is a very unprofessional person providing unprofessional customer service. Please use a different tow company for your tow needs. My BMW's service light came on and my insurance company chose this place to tow my car to the Mechanic, they tried to tell me I had a co pay and my insurance company even contacted his dispatch and driver and told them that I do not owe a co-pay that they are paying in full , he tried to charge me $15.44 for a co pay! The total bill was $70.44 my insurance covered the entire bill. He was trying to double dip and get additional money. He harassed and threatened me by saying he was going to contact collections. Albert sent me text message while I was at work and continued to harass me. I provided text messages for proof. Please know your consumer rights, Albert cannot send you to collections because there is a process. It's against the law to have a person contacting you for a debt to harass or threaten you. I could actually sue him for this. I contacted the attorney gerenal's office and Consumer financial protection and I am spreading the word on ALL social media. Please do the same. This is by far the worst place ever. Very unprofessional!! The person responsible for answering the phones would click on me when I'd call!! I tried getting my car out for 6 days and would not let me!! They held it hostage for over a week!! I do not recommend this towing company at all unless you want to get scammed!! Is that how you run a business? By stealing money from people? That's sad. Karma is real all I'm gonna say. They were suppose to pick up my car and take it to the dealership but for some reason these morons decided to put it in there storage for 7 days!! I ended up paying 700 to take it out. Everyone knows this place is a scam even the Police department knows it. So many people have reported them already. Driver was excellent. But...original quote was $85/hour for a 5.4 mile tow. Upon booking, I gave the make and model, and was quoted $110 flat fee. After I had paid by credit card, and driver had arrived at the pick up, the business office called to say it would be an additional $85 because of additional equipment needed for this make/model. Very poor business practice to jack up the price when the tow is in progress. Won't use again. read more

I hitched a ride to the Irvine/Tustin Infiniti dealership and paid out by cash. There was three of us riding and im glad they used a flatbed truck, i honestly dislike a non-flatbed. Overall this company is legit and deserves 5 stars for their pricing, honesty, delivery, and being within the time frame. Would definitely call them again if my car needed it. read more

So grateful for this company! They got us out of a HUGE pickle while my family and I were on vacation. We had one of our cars parked out on our street. My car broke down on the 73 and I was desperate to find a tow. I called Alberto and he offered to tow my car from Irvine to Westminster for $90 cash. Which was a Pretty decent price. I sent him my location and let him know I was on the left shoulder and he said he would be there in about 20 mins. After 20 minutes he ended up passing my car, so I had to call him to let him know he passed me. He went to the adjacent freeway going the opposite direction and called me to tell me he saw my car and would come for me in another 20 minutes.... I ended up waiting for another hour, called him multiple times with no answer. Finally he picked up the phone and told me he was on his way. After about 2 and a half hours total waiting for the tow, he finally came and told me he actually bailed after telling me he saw my car. So unprofessional! The least he could have done was pick up and tell me he had a hard time finding me instead of not answering his phone and making me wait. Thank god I kept calling, I would have been waiting all day. After arriving, he towed my car and dropped it off near my house. I'm still extremely disappointed about making me wait and not answering, then telling me he actually bailed and only came back because I kept calling. Amazing tow service. I just bought a used car and it wouldn't start. Turns out the previous owner had an amp that used to be hooked up to the battery. He left a wire hooked onto the battery that was draining it. Pete from Albertos towing was a life saver. He noticed the problem right away and fixed my car right there on the spot!! It was so unexpected because I thought I would have to have it towed to a mechanic to get it fixed which could have been an arm and a leg.
