This is more of a shout out. I loved my Sommerkurse (summer classes) here. I took a class in German expressionist film (Fritz Lang and the like), conversation class and a few others. Freiburg is an unbelievably beautiful city, the university building is amazing and the professors were all rock stars. Official communications address (contact address on their website): Friedrichstr. 39, 79098 Freiburg, P.O. Box, 79085 Freiburg However the iconic old building with the sign "The Truth Shall Set You Free" - Wahrheit Wird Euch Frei Machen (apparently from John 8:32) is the original university address ... or at least for touristic purposes. read more
