I've been to see a few concerts there of artists that got really big the following year and I always think its nice to be ahead of the curve once in a while. Is it open all week and each night has a different agenda. There are nights when DJs come to spin, but most of the time concerts are held here. A great venue to catch a live gig, for two reasons: the size of this joint allows only limited numbers inside, meaning an intimate atmosphere and the feeling like you can touch the band, the choice of music and gigs here never fails to impress. Last weekend they we're playing oldies. But... It works. And sometimes they're remixed or whatever, but it's always dance-able. It's refreshing to have a cool club that plays a funky eclectic mix that differs from the majority. Sort of typical look... a downstairs, basement-y, small, funky place that does get tight but not uptight. And if it's not uptight, it's ok to be tight. I mean, you don't have to be bothered bumping into people, cause everybody's cool, but not TOO cool... Know what I mean?
