I have always had a terrible fear of having dental work done, and have very sensitive teeth. Dr. Taylor is professional, yet compassionate. She has always explained each procedure thoroughly, prior to treatment, and then continued to talk me through what was happening throughout my treatment, in order to alleviate my fear, and to make me as comfortable as possible. She has done two fillings and two crowns for me, and has such a delicate touch, I have leaned that going to the dentist does not have to be a "rough" experience. The crowns she did for me look so natural, I can't even tell they're crowns. I totally recommend Dr. Taylor and the entire Gulf Islands staff!

It is very unprofessional for the supposed office manager EMMA to hang up to avoid addressing my question that she avoids to indicate they were negligent in fulfilling. Instead she chooses to pacify poor behavioral skills to avoid addressing the true inquiry which has caused a gap in coverage that now requires me to address. The proper treatment plan wasn't sent to the correct provider for over 90 days in order to proceed with dental care. The reasoning has been exacerbated and avoided only explaining it is done know! That is not the answer. I will also be imitating a complaint to the Dental Board against this practice. I am highly upset, instead of admitting to the issue and apologizing there is nothing but excuses and blatant accusatory disrespect. This lady hung up on me while asking a questions that she apparently intended on avoiding answering. Ignorance is what was displayed by Emma and I will never come back or recommend anyone else to. She definitely isn't office manager qualified. As a patient of any provider there is a level of disrespect that you cannot come back from. Emma as a manager should know how to address inquiries in a honest and educated manner. This isn't resolved and I am not satisfied with the handling of this matter. As a veteran new to the area being referred to this provider I am disappointed and underwhelmed. I have moved forward a complaint with the V.A. also since they are contracting this provider. A investigation is required for nonrenewal of their services. I will be escalating my grievance in hopes of better attention and care shown. I will be reporting unprofessional conduct, or initiating a medical board complaint. Riverside Dental and Emma's take it or leave it approach should not be the catalyst of expectation for medical and dental providers in this area.
