Amazing cigars!!!! Pete is the best. My opinion the best hand crafted cigars around especially the honey whiskey cigar

I've frequented the shop in the old location by the post office and normally had a good experience. Today in the new location I wanted to stop in and spend money. 4:10p Tuesday. There were patrons outside smoking and the door was wide open. I proceeded inside and was quickly met by the owner Pete who yelled he's not open. I waved because as I stated I frequented the old location and wanted to at least say hi. As he walked towards me his tone got more aggressive and he yelled he's not open! I turned to leave and waved he then follows me outside yelling and cursing at me in front of the other patrons who are smoking and talking. It was extremely embarrassing. I've completely lost all respect for him as a business owner and a man. Even if it was just a bad day at no point did I provoke the type of treatment I received. He will not see me and I will recommend you second guess spending a dime with such an unprofessional person. What a disappointment! read more

We buy these cigars as gifts and they never disappoint. Peter is the best of the best!

I love this place and the proprietor. He has no label hand made cigars with the best ingredients. If you need a fancy label then dont go here. But if you want to try the best cigar ever this is the place. I came here on a recommendation from a guy i met in a lounge in Baltimore. Ive been coming ever since. I drive two hours just to get the world's best cigars. There is no better value. If you miss this opportunity I'm sorry. Come here, buy some cigars. You will not be disappointed. They recently moved to 617 Lake Ave and Yelp has the old address. Parking behind the building, in a city lot, is free. Tell Peter i sent you. read more

Unbelievable cigars at low price . Henry is great. Always accommodating and pleasant . A good friend and soulmate

Service selection and value Peter and his crew check all the boxes. Alacranes is the only Cigar I smoke.

I visited Alacranes Cigars and spoke with the owner Pete for a good while. He appeared to be very knowledgeable about cigars and informed me that he owns the plantations where the cigar tobacco is sourced and that his cigars are exclusively only sold at his shop. He also said unlike other cigar manufacturers, he properly ferments/ages his tobacco, doesn't use pesticides, and only sells to clients he meets in person. He sold me about 5 sticks for about $20, which I thought was a steal. As we spoke, I told him about the cigar brands I enjoy, and he said most of the big name brands are garbage (including the ones I mentioned) and that his are far superior. Keep in mind I've been smoking cigars for over 20 years and have tried all of the big name brands, including Cubans. Pete was definitely raising the bar for his cigars, and I was extremely excited to try them. Unfortunately, the cigars I had did not meet the mark for what I would consider great cigars. I don't doubt that he ages is tobacco and I didn't experience any burn issues which is good. However, the cigars were average at best. It's also worth mentioning he warned me most of his sticks were on the mild side. While I prefer fuller bodied sticks, I routinely smoke medium/mild cigars and know a good one when I smoke it. I think Pete is a great guy, and I would enjoy smoking a cigar with him, but I think he hyped up his cigars way too much and for that reason I felt compelled to write this review. Just know, the Alacranes cigars are not horrible by any means, and if you're looking for a cheap smoke, go for it. On the other hand, if you're looking for a cigar that will knock your socks off, these are not the ones, no matter how amazing Pete makes them out to be. Lastly, I really wanted to believe Pete when he told me how great his cigars were. I smoked them without any distractions and really focused on the flavor profiles. Again, these are average at best. Everyone's palates are different and maybe others will disagree, but I've smoked literally thousands of cigars and these just don't do it for me. That being said, I highly encourage others to try Alacrane's products and see for yourself. I just wanted to leave this review so others know my take on them for whatever that's worth. I do wish Pete the best of luck with his business and appreciate that he takes the time to converse with his customers and makes them feel welcome in his store. read more

Fantastic cigars. Local tobacconist. He only sells his cigars. No other brands/name brands. Be sure to call in 4-7 days prior to place an order. Phenwill have some cigars pre rolled but doesn't have a large or a variety. If you call ahead you can customize the cigar you want. Peter is very passionate in his profession. Ask him about his best cigar he makes! read more

A friend gave me a cigar from this place a while back. Excellent cigar at a very reasonable price. We stopped in a couple of days ago to buy some and met Pete the owner. Not only did he sell us 25 cigars at a great price he threw in a couple of infused cigars and talked about his farm and the cigar business in general. Really knowledgeable guy and very friendly. Stopped back today and bought more including some figurados that we smoked later. Great smokes. Every cigar I've had is well made, burns great, tastes great and are super fresh. If you are ever in Lake Worth, stop in, speak to Pete and buy some quality smokes. read more

Was in town for 4th of July weekend and wanted to grab some sticks from a local shop. This was the closest one to where we were staying so, off we went. As soon as I walked in I was told that I couldn't walk past a certain point and that I couldn't walk back to the humidor. This caught me by surprise and I told my girlfriend we were leaving. At that point Peter engaged me in conversation and brought down my "hotheadedness." Sorry we got off on the wrong foot, Peter. read more

Excellent Cigars and Service. I have purchased cigars from the owner (Pete) for over 25 years and have never been disappointed

I happen to have been in the area & my husband asked me to bring him home a cigar. Not knowing the area I went on Yelp and found this cigar store. What a warm wonderful knowledgeable family owned business. The owner was more than helpful and told me he'd be happy to customize any cigar to my husbands liking. I occasionally drive to Lake Worth (from Miami) and buy Pete's great cigars directly. He's a great ambassador for his products and the cigar business in general. More often, though, I just have to text him and there's a mazo in my mailbox within a couple of days, at a very reasonable price. read more

This is really the best place in Florida to smoke and buy cigars!! Im a Jersey boy and Pete definitely knows how to treat his customers, I always recommend to all my friends to come here and smoke read more

Great cigars. Made right at the store. Very nice people. The owner gets his tobacco from nicaragua

Great selection of cigars and very helpful employees. Indoor and outdoor seating. Inside and out is very clean.

A hidden Lake Worth gem is found at this cigar store that doubles as a private club which welcomes cigar smoking members. Leather sofas and arm chairs, a wide screen smart TV for utube videos, dominos, a members bottle cabinet, and of course, a walk in humidor combine with a relaxed atmosphere (once you've bought some cigars and settled in). The thing about this place that will keep you coming back is actually the cigars themselves. All the cigars here are made by the company that owns the store. They are expertly rolled in Miami from tobacco they grew at select farms. These are really fine, long smoking cigars. They are among the very best. Oddly all the cigars are priced the same, the big ones and the smaller ones, buy 4 or more to get in the graces of the shop owner. The price will be less than you would expect. The shop is often open late -- until around midnight, so it's perfect for stopping by after dinner or the theater. read more

These guys are the real deal! Great shop for genuine hand rolled sticks. Super friendly and helpful; me being a relative noob, they educated me on their processes and helped me to select the perfect stick. And they'll custom make for you if you want! The best, hands down. We bought a cigar and owner told us we are fortunate because it's a private club but he is letting us sit and enjoy because it's the Lake Worth street painting festival. After 10 minutes his daughter turned off the music video of Queen in middle of song, and I politely asked her to wait till end of song. The owner told us to leave. Poor girl growing up with such entitled parents. I wouldn't recommend this cigar bar! read more
