However, the most enjoyable thing has been the Christmas album they all got together and created. Fox 6 is lucky to have such a talented group of people throughout their entire staff. They created this album, donating their time and talents, to help raise money for the salvation army. I want to thank them for keeping me informed and making my drive into work so enjoyable as I listen to their versions of several Christmas Classic. Merry Christmas Y'all!

Sitting atop the mountain next to The Club and NBC Studios, the building overlooks the magic city. Accessing the property can be a little bit difficult. You turn into Vulcan and veer left, passing NBC on the right. There are no signs to let you know that the Fox studio is down the road, but it is there. Overall, my experiences with the staff at this TV station have been good. There are quite a few well-known local TV personalities that work for the station. All of them are very friendly and good at their jobs. I have found some of the production staff to be a little more difficult to work with, forgetting important details about TV spots and not having things prepared on interview days. However, everything always works out and seems prepared in the end.

WBRC is a typical fox affiliate news reporting station. They are receiving 3 stars for their over…read morehyping, inaccurately calling, CYA'ing, weather forecasting. As having worked in IL, OK, UT, TX, and AL, in an industry that is weather dependent these guys are horrible in comparison. I prefer a meteorologist to take a stand and if they miss it, try again next time. JP sure seems to give a broad statement like "increasing chance of isolated thunderstorms." They are also receiving 3 stars as they are by far better than any other news stations available in the Birmingham area. Shout out to JP to saddle up, do your homework and tell us your best guess. You seem like an intelligent meteorologist with a great work ethic and good personality. Now quit hyping, and putting a severe weather alert for half the state. Figure it out and let us know.

For our 51st Wedding Anniversary, we wanted to go on a Jubilee 2025 Pilgrimage, not in Europe (we…read moredon't like crowds this huge), so hubby and I decided to do a Road Trip 2025, and doing our own pilgrimage ourselves. Destination? Alabama, the EWTN, the Global Catholic Network, the one founded by a famous nun, Mother Angelica, who also founded the Shrine in Birmingham. After our morning (TV broadcast mass), we came back here for a tour. I learned, no WE learned something new today! The backstage setting for live shows, is like a miniature doll house, with movable plywood background, furniture, rugs, to make it look like they're on location. All that is folded away for the next show, neatly back. There are 8 satellites dishes outside. The control room is like visiting a Public Broadcasting TV, they have about 400 employees, controlling the ETWN, it is just magical. I love going behind the scenes, the friars do on youtube videos. This is reallity, right here, right now. And we're here! Some people get excited going on a reality TV game shows, or Court shows like Judge Judy, or Oprah, we're on EWTN, some folks have never ever heard of, not even many Catholics, but I've known about it since 2011. After my mother's dead, I met a woman where there's a retirement home by my house, I visit and pray the Rosary with them and give them Host, who told me about EWTN. I started waking up at 5:00amPT, to watch mass, while I was making COVID mask more & more, now I watch it at 9pm. You can also watch it on your phone, without cable TV. Or anywhere in the world, if you have WI-FI, etc. It's on youTube.
