This is a serious mistake, and I believe more attention should be paid when handling customers' money. I pushed him off of me various times and felt super unsafe and just wanted to get out of there, so I booked it and never went back. I see many other reviews saying he's so cool and nice. I guess I was just his type. Gross. Fresh habaneros have what some describe as an earthy (even a good and dirty) flavor component and it's very challenging to work with. Most salsa makers use sweetness to offset the hot dirt thing going on -- but not Mike and Diane. They have a secret and while I'm not gonna spill the beans here I will say that it's theirs is the only habanero salsa (besides my own) that I will eat. Above and beyond that they are great, warm people and surround themselves with a fantastic crew. My online orders for their products have been handled cheerfully and promptly and Mike even reached out to me with a personal thank you note the last time I ordered. For the win! First off this is a little different Habanero sauce than I'm used to. I'm used to the bright orange stuff they sell at the grocery stores. This has more of a finely blended salsa texture. The ingredients are vinegar, tomato, onions, habanero, garlic, serrano, spices, salt, and sugar. What does this all mean? A great Dipping sauce! Also good on mac-n-cheese and mixing in with salsa. - Something locally made that would make a great gift.
