Murtaugh's line became so famous that his name became the name of the opposite of a bucket list, a Murthaugh List. Where a bucket list is a list of all the things you need to do before you die ("kick the bucket"), a Murtaugh List is a list of all the sh** that you have, quite simply, gotten too old for. Wanna know what's on the top of my Murtaugh List? Moving. Moving my own sh** and moving others' sh**. Honestly, if you're out of college, stop harassing your friends for help moving, and hire some movers. We've used these particular movers twice, once when we moved in together, and again many years later when we moved from one place to another. The second time we even had them pack up our stuff for us, as we were on holiday when moving day rolled around. And all I can say is, that's some of the best money we've ever spent! The company itself is family-owned, and more likely than not, the owner himself will be at your move. He is quick, professional, and a pleasure to speak with. And so are his movers, who genuinely seem to like their job. As I said, we've used them twice, and in neither case has anything gone missing or been broken in the process. On our most recent move, the movers forgot a few things at our old apartment, and accidentally moved some stuff that was supposed to stay behind, but I mostly think this had to with us not being there to instruct them. Because if you hire these guys, that's what you'll be doing: instructing. "This goes there, that goes here". That's it. You won't carry a single box. In fact, they prefer you don't help. Trust me, you can't keep up with their pace, so you'd only slow them down. All you gotta do is stand back and let the men work. So say it again with me, this time with feeling: "I'm too old for this sh**!" And now go hire some movers.
