There are lots of tables and comfortable Adirondack chairs out front as well as large cement blocks right by the water to sit on. There is plenty of space for large groups, as well as cozy areas for a twosome. Inside, FFF is basically a warehouse with food stalls, long tables, a brewery and bookstore. One of the most popular things to order here is called a Plank, which is basically a wooden board that they fill with meats, cheeses, tomatensoep, and other bites from a few of the vendors there. You can order them from the stand at the entrance. We stopped in once on a Sunday during brunch time, and almost everyone had a Plank of their own. Our absolute favorite part of this place is that we can enjoy the best cider in the world here; Lightship Cider. Do yourself a favor and get one. It's crisp, fresh, and flavorful. I'm obsessed. This store has been around since 1908 and might just be the oldest shop we have featured. A family run business situated in the longest shopping street of the Netherlands provides a great selection of quality wines, meats, bread and other delicious foods. If you are looking for a nice lunch Vermeyden is also a good option with a nice terrace outside as well. They will be happy to serve you whether it is a take-a-way sandwich or a coffee.
