Ordered an Italian sub to go and even showed our waitress the order that was text to me. It specifically said to toast the sub before putting the lettuce and tomatoes on it. I get home and have a sub with nasty wilted lettuce that appears to have been cooked and mustard which was not on the order. Last time there we got meatballs that were so nasty my husband gagged. We won't be back.

Stopped in to place to go order. They were busy, as can be expected on Friday night. Chose the chicken florentine calzone this time. Forgot to get a pic as I was hungry! Dough was a little dark on top, but it was not burnt. Loved the shredded chicken, spinach, and pieces of garlic. This was a good one to get! Of course, I'll go back when in town.

This was our first time visiting A J'S pizza pub. My wife. Ordered mozzarella sticks and a slice of pepperoni and mushroom pizza. I ordered the Carolina sweet chicken wings and a slice of meat supreme pizza. Our food was delicious, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was delightful. We most definitely would eat here again.

Huge fan of the mini garlic knots, and the pizza is great. My husband says that the wings are really good too!

Best wings around no doubt, hey and the pizza is pretty darn good too! They have daily specials too which helps the bank account.

Served sizzling in the pan, juicy to the bone, fell apart like butter. Those wood-fired grills, imported from Italy, fire up everything: pizzas with dough stretched daily, crust blistered just right; breads warm, crusty outside, pillowy in. Pure comfort overload. Oh, and the bolognese--silky ragu clinging to fresh pasta, slow-cooked forever. Every bite screams Italy: the aroma, the way it settles heavy on your tongue. Makes you forget you're not actually in Naples. Their food isn't just good, it transports you, straight to someone's nonna's table. Wood fire, imported grills, honest bread--it's all so true. And the wines! They don't just hand you a glass--they pair. Every dish, every sauce has a buddy tucked in their list. Spaghetti and meatballs with a crisp Chianti, veal with Barolo that cuts right through the richness. Hell, even asked for a random white once and they nailed it. Feels like the grape was chosen months ago just for that exact forkful!

We had not been in in a few months and we showed up at 5:50pm. 3 tables were in house at the time. We were handed the menus and immediately my wife and I were perplexed. This was not the same restaurant. I even asked the server if the owner changed. Nope. We were lied to saying it was a season menu change - I'm in the business; that was menu engineering based of cost efficiency and was basically an Olive Garden menu. Pasta is not made from scratch anymore. We ordered two drinks, which have been limited to 5 options that the waiters are making as they have no steady bartender. The drinks were what you'd expect from an untrained person making them. Not worth $13. Then we ordered the Caprese and meatballs. We were hopeful the food quality hadn't changed. It did. The tomatoes were mush. It was a joke. Meatballs were cold. Again only 3 tables and it took 30 minutes. Our entrees were eggplant parmigiana and the sausage rigatoni- the eggplant was cold and they forgot the sausage in our food - on top of the massive wait the food was cold. It kills me to say this, but they had 3 high school aged men working in the kitchen. No culinary training. I stopped and watched. For the price charged, this was a embarrassment of a dinner. Management, I hope you read this. I understand menu engineering for hard times - but at least execute on it and don't be understaffed.

I remember having an excellent torta (which does not seem to be on the menu now) but most other things needed some seasoning. CB has not changed. We were quickly greeted and shown to a table. Also the chips came quickly. The menu is far too large so it took me some time to settle on what I wanted, which was the Tuesday Taco special. Megan ordered steak fajitas. The food came fast enough. I had two carnitas and an asada street tacos with a side of beans. The food was not bad, it all just needed seasoning. Any kind of seasoning. Same with Megan's fajitas. Also needed seasoning and she even put salt on her beans. When is the last time you salted your food at a Mexican restaurant? I watched the fajitas for the first time in my life today. It seems like they cook the meat and veggies to a good doneness then put it on the hot cast iron to bring it sizzling to your table. They brought over the food pretty quickly so that was the first time I've seen the food burn at the table. Many workers came and checked on us, offering us more refills and making sure we had all we need. The fellow I think is the owner came by a few times too. Service here is very good!
