I am a very big fan of taro milk tea, and so far this place does it the best. The tea itself isn't overly sweet, but it also has a nice taro flavor. The taro root at the bottom was delicious and it was some of the best I've had. The service was immaculate, and the drinks came out swiftly. I've had this place on my radar for over a year after seeing their cute bunny jellies on Instagram, but never had a chance to go until recently. Unfortunately, you can only get the bunny jelly with their snow drinks (since it has to be placed on top with the snow globe dome cup lid. I initially wanted to try their more unique drinks like their rose garden Thai tea or their Biscoff cookie milk tea shake. However, I decided to change my order to get a caramel snow drink with a pink strawberry bunny jelly. Hands down the MOST EXPENSIVE boba I've paid for. This came up to $10, but since it's a unique thing, I gotta try it at least once. The bunny jelly is SOOO CUTE. I felt so bad eating it honestly. It even has a cute little face and cotton ball tail. Honestly the jelly itself tastes like the Vietnamese dessert, thach (coconut milk agar jelly). So there's a slight coconut taste along with the strawberry and the texture is a bit more solid than what you're used to with jellies/jello (not bad though!). The drink itself was just a milk icy slush with some boba and caramel sauce. Nothing you can't get from any other boba place. For the price tag I was a tad disappointed, but I can at the very least say that I've tried this and a lot of people agreed that the bunny was very cute. I've been to Aiyu cha so many times and I've never been disappointed with my drink! My favorite drink here is definitely the Lava Thai Green milk tea. There's a cream foam on top that they brûlée a bit and pairs so well with the green thai. Although this drink is a bit on the sweeter side so I try to order 25% sweet and even then it is still a bit too sweet. The Peach Fruit Tea is also a great refreshing drink on hot days. They add real peaches in the drink and this one is always the perfect amount of sweetness it's not a dessert drink like the lava green Thai. One of my go to places in the OC for boba and I'll definitely always make the drive out for it! read more

I was finally able to stop by today and ordered the Egg with Avocado sandwich for lunch and couldn't wait to try it. Boy was I disappointed! The sandwich was a basic croissant from Costco with barely any egg or avocado in it. This was the saddest sandwich I have ever had!! On their instagram post, it shows an oversized sandwich, overflowing with fluffy eggs on a hearty croissant and "everything" seasoning. What I got looked nothing like what they advertised. The only problem with my drink is that I've run out. Aiyu Cha is a little shop located near Daiso in the Pavilions Place plaza of Westminster. Last time I was in that vicinity, I was probably already toting tea from elsewhere. Today, I was thirsty while running between other stores on Beach Blvd when I realized that this would make a convenient stop, so I finally went. I ordered a Tiramisu Milk Tea ($5.25) with 50% sugar and less ice. After it was finally ready, I got to taste it. Holy crap! It's liquid tiramisu with a surprisingly compatible oolong backbone. It tasted rich but isn't heavy, and the sweetness level was ideal for me. Unfortunately, they don't have sizes other than the default 16 oz, so I couldn't enjoy it for as long as I would've liked. No idea where that bunny from the featured photo is, although I was certainly not going to spend so much money on it. Ownership is likely Vietnamese from what I heard while eavesdropping on the kitchen. Seating is limited. Small model stores are available for purchase for whatever reason (and are on display in the back). Worse boba I've ever had and I love boba!! Very disappointed with the lack of flavor. We ordered 2 drinks from the Top 10 favorite/popular, the Twilight Taro Milk Tea with cheese cream and the peach milk tea with cheese cream. We asked for regular sugar on both and it tasted as it had no sugar added. We added honey boba & that's the only sweetness that was part of the drink. My peach drink looked like a coffee boba, the color was brown, but maybe it was due to using real peaches or tea? Found this and had to go for it because their drinks are super cute! Parking : super easy they are located in a plaza so lots of parking. They have pretty much a big menu on drinks, I wish they have more drink pictures so I can see. I was craving for a taro drink and definitely wanted one of the bunny jelly on top of my drink. The girls that worked there was super helpful and they let me know some of the drinks can't have the bunny jelly on top because it can sink. The milkshakes or slushees are the ones that can usually have the bunny jelly on top. So instead of twilight taro I got the ube cheese. This drink does not adjust the sweetness level. My boyfriend got the black milk tea with tiramisu foam with 50% sweetness. We waited for about 5 min to get the drinks. They charge the bunny jelly separately, it does not come with the drink. Our total was around 15$ kind of steep but wanted to definitely try the experience. I'm so surprised the drinks was pretty delicious! My boyfriend's drink was really creamy and can taste the tea flavor. I did not taste any water down at all. My drink was pretty surprisingly good too. It wasn't too sweet even though I couldn't change the sweetness level. Not bad after all. The bunny jelly tasted a very small hint of sweetness, I love that it is very subtle and not overpowering with sweetness or flavor. Although I wasn't able to get the bunny, I still left very satisfied with my drink! I always love oolong tea and the cashier was able to recommend different foam toppings depending on the type of tea I wanted (classic oolong tea - cheese foam, oolong milk tea - sea salt). The store is tucked away in an inconspicuous location. Its decor is cute, adorned with lots of miniatures on their shelves. Once again, another zombie service place. --- Aiyu Honey Lemon Tea with 25% sugar and less ice. I can't imagine what 100% or even 50% sugar would taste like. With 25% sugar, the drink instantly gave me diabetic-level sweetness. The lemon tea tasted more like lemonade without any hint of tea. I had to wait for the ice to melt down to make it drinkable, but even then, the drink remained extremely sweet. The aiyu jelly was nowhere to be found until the last sip, where I discovered only two tiny pieces of 1x1 inch of aiyu jelly. The Twilight Taro Milk surprised me initially because it looked like an ube drink rather than a taro drink but it definitely tasted like real taro mixed with coconut milk. The Fluffy Peach Milk Tea was fine but not my favorite. It kinda tasted like peach infused whole milk with an aftertaste of tea instead of a typical milk tea. The Creme Brulee Thai Tea was my favorite of the drinks. I typically like to order thai tea when I first try a boba shop (unless the place is specifically known for something else) as I think you can tell the quality of the rest of the drinks from how well they make their thai tea and I thought their thai tea compared well along with my other favorite boba places. Wow~ just WOW!!! Found out about Aiyu Cha from a Yelp post. Once I saw that cute little bunny floating atop a cloud of cheese foam I was sold (lol)! So Aiyu Cha is a super cute tea/boba shop in Westminster. Decor is modern and it's SUPER clean w/lots of Covid safety features in place. Customer service was STELLAR! SUPER friendly cashier who explained everything thoroughly. She explained everything about that little almond jello bunny (which I really appreciated)! We ordered 2 of their most popular drinks, Caramel Snow Pearl and Strawberry Snow. They were both AMAZING!!! Really, really good drinks! You can watch them make them so I was able to see they use good, quality ingredients. But what really impressed me was the care they put into making each drink. And that bunny jelly thing is cuter in person than in pictures! You can order it to go or have them top it in your drink. If you have them put it on remember to be quick to take pictures because it WILL sink to the bottom of the cup! 5 stars for the bunny jellies. I got the strawberry snow and Vietnamese coffee drink (it has a Vietnamese name like bac xiu or something.) I got the bunny on top of the strawberry snow, and bunny on the side for the coffee milk. They had two bunnies (pink and white). The bungee jellies are so cute. I saw them on Instagram, and really wanted to check out this place. They are $3.50 each, and jiggle. The pink one has a softer consistency, and white white one is more firm. If you get it on top, in about 30 minutes, it will sink. If you get it on the side, they package it in a cute box with cheese foam, matcha powder, strawberries, and sprinkles. The drinks were a little over $5. They are a decent size, and they were both yummy. My husband preferred the coffee and I preferred the strawberry. If you need coffee, I don't recommend it. It's a small shot. It's more a nice afternoon treat, rather than to keep you awake. It it mainly organic milk with a shot of Vietnamese coffee topped with creme brulee cream on top. It's a small boba shop with great quality milk tea! It's a really small shop with maybe a few chairs to sit in while you wait for your drink. I got the bac xiu because I needed a little caffeine to start out my day. I really wanted to like aiyu chia because the drinks all sound really good. But they were all not to my liking. The strawberry snow was super icy and no customizations were allowed, so it just wasn't my favorite. The Bac Xiu is a white coffee drink with a brûléed sugar topping, which sounded really good. But, the brûlée didn't add anything to the drink really and the coffee was just ok. Finally the tiramisu milk tea was just oolong tea with cream and cocoa powder - not particularly good or bad. The bunny jellies were the most disappointing. I think each one is $3 and while adorable, they didn't taste good. The jelly is made with either way too much gelatin or agar agar, giving it a firm, crunchy gel texture. The white one tasted like artificial almond extract which I do enjoy, but I couldn't get over the texture at all. Overall, Aiyu Cha is good for people who care more about a curated IG feed than actually good food. Am I guilty of posting the drinks on my stories?
