The web site was very user friendly and made it simple to find the room, the dates, and the information we needed to book our stay. Priority for us was a place that would take our dog, Gertie. When we arrived in Port Aransas we found the office quickly and easily. Melissa greeted us with a big smile and we were also greeted by a very sweet Barney (the mascot I think). She asked if we wanted to stay another night for free and the weekend was officially perfect. The room was exactly as we expected and described. The bed was so comfortable we got one for our home. The salt water above ground pool was relaxing and cool after a long day of food, drink, and beach. We have returned every year for the past five years. It's a perfect little place for us and my family (they have been twice).

The setup includes two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with twin beds. An open loft sleeps 4 but it has a low ceiling and the stairs are treacherous. Melissa made our trip fantastic. We got her take on restaurants and took her up on a few of her suggestions. Check in and check out were as easy as the beach breeze.

The ac was a known issue , but nobody ever went to check if the ac had been repaired. They then sent us to another house. This house had dead roaches on the floor and live roaches in the cabinets . The weekend was a bust , due lack of management . The house I rented originally was on the water with a pier. Grandson was excited to walk out the back patio and fish all night. Total disappointment. We booked a last minute cacelation on Memorial day weekend. The transaction was quick and the rental agreement was emailed with access codes for entry. After driving for hours with the kiddos, we arrived around lunch time. Our cottage was beautiful... perfect in fact. The theme was "Endless Summer" and was wonderfuly decorated in a beach theme. Our unit had a queen bed and a pull out couch and kitchen. Our inlaws were in the unit behind us and lets the kids stay in their extra room... which allowed for a romantic weekend alone. Restaruants, fishing and parks are all in walking distance. Hands down one of the best vacations I had. If you are ever in the Rockport area give Lisa a call and stay in one of her 5 cottages... sit on the beach... feet in the sand... sun on your face... and thank me later.

La La Land was a gorgeous home and we would definitely stay at this unit again. Unfortunately, our most recent stay included several service and maintenance issues that impacted the experience. While the staff was courteous, response times were challenging when problems arose. The most significant issue occurred on our final night when multiple fire alarms sounded in our unit for an extended period of time while we were traveling with an infant and toddler. Because maintenance was not immediately available on-site, it took quite some time to resolve the situation. I truly believe our experience would have been very different had maintenance personnel been available on the property to respond more quickly to urgent issues. For a resort of this size and caliber, having faster on-site maintenance support would greatly improve the guest experience and help prevent minor issues from becoming major disruptions. Cinnamon Shore has so much potential to provide an exceptional vacation experience, and I hope management continues investing in the operational side of the resort to match the beauty of the property itself.

My family owned a home here for over 10 years, and honestly, after this experience, I'm relieved we no longer do. It's disgusting to see how loyal residents and vacationers are treated now. Cinnamon Shore seems to think they can do whatever they want and treat people like second-class citizens. To make matters worse, the house we stayed in had cockroaches, which was already unacceptable considering the cost of staying here. Larry and Juan from courtesy patrol then approached and harassed my family over an investigation that none of us were involved in. During the interaction, they were taking photos of me and my family, which made us extremely uncomfortable. When I confronted them about it, Larry responded with, "You're not that sweet, sweetheart," before they became even more disrespectful and unprofessional, eventually calling me and my sister "f***ing ret*rds." What makes this even more disturbing is that I have the entire interaction recorded. I have special needs family members, so hearing that kind of language was beyond offensive and unacceptable. No guest, resident, or homeowner should ever be treated this way, especially by staff or security personnel who are supposed to make people feel safe. After being a loyal guest and homeowner family since 2009, I am honestly shocked and disgusted by the level of harassment, disrespect, and overall experience my family had.

We definitely plan on returning and booking the same unit on a future trip to Port A! It was just my wife and I, but the condo was three bedroom and sleeps eight. Given that the units are individually owned and decorated, I suspect there are greatly different experiences, so check out the pictures. I think the building is from the 80s and it shows its age a bit, but we spent our time either inside our condo or on the beach, so it wasn't a detractor. That being said, the fact that one of the two elevators was out of service, and the operating elevator had a sign in it saying that it sometimes gets stuck was disconcerting, to say the least! Thankfully, we didn't get stuck! The boardwalk to the beach is nice and it's not too far a walk. The beach is the beach, so awesome! Although we didn't use the pool, it looked very nice. I called the office a couple of times before and during our trip, and the person I talked to was always friendly and professional. We had a reservation for the same condo in August, but had to cancel at the last minute because my wife got Covid! Fortunately, I purchased the trip cancellation insurance. We filed a claim and got our money back, but dealing with the insurance company was not easy and it took almost a month to get our refund.

They had parking for our two vehicles and trailed boats. Less than a mile to Lowes Grocery, convenient but pricey. Enjoyed Lelos, McDaddys and the Crazy Cajun which were 5 minutes away.
