First, I was contacted in a very timely manner to schedule an appointment to come look at the project and give me a quote. And the appointment was kept at the date and time scheduled. It was less than a week after this the technician arrived at my home to perform the work. He cleaned and N-Hanced all the wood surfaces of my kitchen - which was no small task as it had been 20+ years since the cabinets were installed. N-Hance refinished my wood floors in March or 2019. In June, I noticed areas of the floor where the…read morefinish seemed to be wearing off and other areas where the finish was turning a hazy, milky white. In early July, I called James Verney the owner of the N-Hance franchise to let him know. I continued to call him every couple of weeks until he finally came out to look at the floor in early December. He tested the flooring for high humidity but that was not the problem. He consulted his resources at the N-Hance home office in Utah. They did not have any answers at that time. At the end of December 2019 I spoke with James again, he said he had been in discussion with the N-Hance home office and he would be emailing me a proposal to resolve the issue, I never received the promised email. I emailed and called several times over the next few weeks leaving messages which were never returned. I called the quality control representative at the N-Hanse home office in Utah twice. Both times she said she would ask James to call me. No call came. N-Hance also said they could not assist me beyond that. They said resolving and customer dissatisfaction was solely up to the franchisee and they had no ability to hold the franchisee accountable for resolving the issue. I had another flooring expert inspect the floor and they diagnosed it as an adhesion problem where the finish was not adhering to the floor. They said one cause of this could be that the sealer / finish that was used could have been defective or too old as the shelf life on those products is only a year. So Now I am stuck with a wood floor with patches of hazy, milky white sealer on it and N-Hance is nowhere to be found. I wish I could wave a magic wand and go back in time, I would never have decided to allow them to refinish my floors. James seemed very personable and nice but when a job is faulty, as a customer you want a business owner who stands behind their work. I cannot recommend N-Hance and would suggest you seek out a more reputable company.
