When I visited her home and saw all the color, activities, and everything she does for the children, I knew my baby girl would be in wonderful hands. From birthday parties and dance parties to the great, yummy meals the children enjoy, Teacher Rose puts so much love and effort into creating a fun and nurturing environment. There are even things my daughter won't eat at home that she will gladly eat at daycare! Teacher Rose is excellent at providing wonderful care to the children. From the very start, she has loved on my baby girl and brought out a side of her that has been so wonderful to watch grow. She tends to the children's needs as if they are her own. Teacher Rose is very communicative, thorough, and clear, which I truly appreciate. She sends videos and makes sure I'm able to see what my baby has going on throughout the day. Anytime I have questions or concerns, she answers me. She respects me as my daughter's mother and considers what I require for my daughter to be cared for properly, and what I need in order to feel comfortable with her care. Mrs. Rose does a lot! She is honestly like a one woman band, even though she has support whenever she needs it. She runs a tight ship, and it is truly amazing to see. Above all, Mrs. Rose has a genuine servant's heart, and I thank God for placing her in our lives, not only as my daughter's daycare provider, but honestly, as a friend. She always makes sure our little one is fed and always clean and dry. She also sends videos, pictures and texts throughout the day which allows us as parents to relax knowing our little one is so loved and cared about. She even goes the extra mile and makes sure every child is celebrated on their birthday and makes the holidays even more special for little ones and their siblings. However, I was told there wouldn't be an infant spot until January, and in order to hold that spot, I'd have to pay $100 per week (for 5 months) -- totaling over $2,000 -- just to reserve it. This fee would not go toward tuition, care, or anything else. I paid a $55 enrollment fee at the time but couldn't shake the feeling that something didn't sit right. After reflecting on it and comparing with other local daycares (most of which only charge a small one-time holding fee), I reached out to let her know I couldn't justify paying that amount -- especially while also paying for a nanny and another daycare. That's when she suddenly said a spot would be opening September 1st, even though she had just told me January. I responded expressing interest, but she never opened or replied to my message. As a first-time mom, I now feel this may have been a manipulative or predatory tactic -- either the spot never existed, or it did and I was being pushed to pay unnecessary fees under false pretenses. Either way, it felt deceptive and left me deeply uncomfortable. Even if she were to reply now, I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving my child in her care after this experience. Parents, please be cautious. Trust your instincts and ask questions -- especially when someone is asking you to pay hundreds (or thousands) upfront for nothing in return.

When our son turned 3, we initially enrolled him part-time to help him socialize and get comfortable around other children. Within just a few weeks, his English vocabulary grew tremendously. It was honestly amusing, and impressive, to hear him use new words we had never taught him while telling us about his day. He also became much more comfortable interacting with both children and adults. Although he is still naturally shy, he has come out of his shell significantly, and we eventually moved him to full-time care after seeing how much he was benefiting. As parents, we also really appreciated the level of communication Childtime provided. They send home a weekly menu so we know what meals and snacks are being served, and his teachers (shout out to Ms. Josephine and Ms. Stacy!) would regularly post updates and photos on the app of our son's day. Getting to see him participate in activities that aren't always possible at home (color runs, magician shows, dance parties) was one of our favorite parts of the experience. I'd also like to recognize Sonja, the director, who has always been courteous, accommodating, and honest. On multiple occasions, she went out of her way to point out a promotional discount, vacation options, as well as a corporate discount available through my employer. That level of transparency and willingness to help really stood out to us. Unfortunately, the education aspect seems to lack. The field trips were fun for the kids, however, our youngest is in a much more structured preschool and the difference is so noticeable. BUT, the price can NOT be beat. 2 children, 3 days a week, from 7 am till 6pm was 576, where now we pay for 3 full days for 1 child at 450. If you are on a tight tight budget, the pre school is not bad.. but, it truly just depends on what you're looking for, and what you're willing to let slide.
