Two nights at Hotel am Ahrensberg was actually too short. We loved our room with the balcony and enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the exquisite and friendly service. In fact, the only negative was the sauna area where it seems that middle aged German men would rather dangle than dream of not offending an American woman. If you stay here, take one of the Wanderwege just below the hotel. During autumn, you can pick apples and plums right off the trees. Don't wait until the second day to try the restaurant.
