Love this city! So much culture and history! I would never expect to come here if I never met my fiancé. I'm so glad to have met him and all his extended family who lives here. Such a beautiful place! I'm so happy to get a chance to visit this city. This city is full of cathedrals, gardens, museums, bars, bakery shops, almost everything! I love the city because it is not an American tourist destination so speak Spanish. It is clean, friendly and safe Not touristy but an old spa which accounts for the name Aguascalientes. About a million people. The new parts look like Southern California But I gravitate to the old part with its cafes, fountains, bands and colonial buildings. 30 miles away in the mountains is cavillo the guava capital of the world. It's not the most beautiful city in the country but I feel I'm in the true Mexico here and love the "good people" of the city read more
