We just moved here from Illinois and did not like the grass, our dogs were getting burs in the paws and there was a lot of weeds. I picked out Aguapro from Google and set up a date to get new sod. We discussed a Bermuda sod as I did not like St Augustine at all. Of course Bermuda is more expensive, but we like beautiful lawn. The day came and he said that he did not like the grass that was available because of all the rain north Texas has been getting. Arnold suggested getting the good seed like Bermuda, I told him I was concerned because its so hot here, he said we're going into fall now (it was August) so it will be ok. He came another day with the seed, burlap, and started raking the old grass off. I mentioned its supposed to rain heavy later, he said he knows thats why he's rushing to beat the rain. I told him I was worried about the rain washing away the seed. He said he will come back in a day or 2 to see how it is and put the burlap down. That day never came, I called him and questioned him if this was a good idea due to pooling of the rain and there were 2 puddles. He said are you questioning my expertise? I told him no I was just concerned. He never answered my calls and there were over 4 times I called. I finally sent and email and he answered that. He said he was sick, I said for over a week and no one could call me back? Also he only wanted cash since he said he was cheated by people before. So here we are with weeds growing taller and the little bit of seed came up. Its now been a month since this started and I'm so frustrated. I located another company and discussed getting sod, I was told there has not been a problem for his company getting any sod. He said that he usually has to go up north from us for it. It would be a 6 hr drive each way to get my Bermuda grass. He rototilled, raked, and rolled out the soli. Then played out the sod, rolled it again, and watered it. What a shame people take advantage of you by doing poor business, my first taste of Texas. The other company, Rivera landscaping did a wonderful job fixing Aguapro's mistake. read more
