The idea that I could have an ocean view with breakfast included for 60 Euros sounded great. We were NOT disappointed. First, the hotel is easy to find and has free parking available behind it that is pointed out with a sign on the road north of the hotel. The hotel is very white and very clean. My husband kept insisting that we were probably the first people to stay in our room because he felt it looked brand new. It did look brand new and the room was quite nice and included a balcony with a view of the ocean. When we arrived, the room was a bit warm and I was unable to change the temperature on the thermostat. I let the woman at the front desk know and she came to try to help, but was not able to do so and called maintenance. A maintenance person came and worked on it until it was resolved. The woman at the front desk spoke enough English so that we could communicate, so that was helpful. The bathroom was a decent size. The shower was pretty tiny, but it had a great rain style shower head with a hand held as well, so that was great. No bathtub, though. Included was both a toilet and bidet and nice bath products. There was a television in the room, but we never turned it on as we were there such a short time. The bed was comfortable but (as seemed the norm everywhere we stayed) the covers were light. We were tired and slept fine, though. They have free wi-fi available. Breakfast was included and it was similar to what we found at most places: cereal, many breads/pastries, yogurt, fruit, and juices. It was enjoyable. Overall, this was a fantastic place to stay. The price was crazy for what we got and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through or staying in the Trabocchi Coast area.

Castillo di Septe sounds good on paper but it is so disappointing. Rude staff. Incompetent…read morereservations department. The beds look like they are out of a flea bag motel and the shower stall is so small I worry about the hygiene of the people who are unlucky enough to stay here. How could they possibly get clean? And since it is in the middle of nowhere you are stuck dealing with them. You can't walk to a better restaurant with better service. You can get your car and drive a half hour otherwise you are trapped here being served tepid food by angry, angry people. We thought it would be fun to see the countryside after a few days in Rome. We were mistaken. Do not come here. This is far from a Tuscany type experience and not worth a visit.
