The employees have always been friendly: helpful but not "lurking" (standing over you as if you're going to shoplift at any moment). The employees are furthermore very patient, and you're even allowed to try on certain garments, so long as they don't include panty hose/stockings, or items that would be unhygienic to try on. (I've only tried on a handful of items so I'm not sure about all of the limitations, but that you can try on some garments seems pretty cool, particularly ..well, untraditional lingerie, if you will.) I really cannot stress enough how wide a variety of items they carry, and their prices seem fairly reasonable for a local store, that is, buying sex toys or whatever here instead of online. Also, this store is huge. HUGE. They have entire sections dedicated to "gay interests", BDSM and, of course, porn. There's even a porn theater of sorts, which I haven't checked out so unfortunately I can't tell you about it. Granted I'm no expert on sex shops in Vienna, but I'd nevertheless suggest this one if you're in the market for something they sell, or if you'd like to see something in person before buying it online. Maybe it could even give you some ideas you'd never considered before. ;-)

I don't even hand wash them anymore. I just throw them in with the rest of the laundry (not the dryer). I haven't had a run in a Wolfords stocking yet! The people at the Kärtnerstrasse store are well-informed and helpful. I like coming to this location for that reason. The body suits and bras they sell are also top quality. Their clothes are very comfortable and quite stylish, similar to H&M but much cheaper! :) I personally have no problem with the huge crowd of people who shop here but I can imagine some people wouldn't be able to handle the hectic environment and long waiting lines at the changing rooms or the cashier. All the staffs working at primark are very hard working and friendly. This is my absolute favorite place to shop clothes!

We spent a decent amount of our time in Vienna shopping, and I was able to hit a few stores to find the perfect dirndl. The first two we stopped in were way above the price point I was aiming for--I'm talking upwards of €1000 for the cheapest full outfits--so we had to quickly come up with excuses to gtfo of there. Then we came upon this store, where you can expect to pay €300-700 for a full outfit, and this was more of what I was expecting. I spent over an hour in here, shopping for the perfect dress, apron, blouse, pumps, bra, and even necklace. It's serious business! Gotta find the right colors and sizes in everything--and there's definitely a specific fit you are ideally ending up with. Luckily this place has a ton of options that are great quality for a decent price. A range of colors and lots of styles. Someone at another store said they recommended I go with blue items to match my eyes, but I was already set on green (plus my eyes have some green too)! I was torn between a more expensive green outfit and the one I went with, which was about €100 cheaper. There were a few dressing rooms and luckily the other store patrons were patient and also taking these decisions very seriously, but you know who wasn't patient? The majority of the people working here. Not only were they mostly not patient, they also mostly weren't helpful. I get it, it's Oktoberfest and you have a lot of customers and you're just trying to make it through the day or whatever, but like why did you choose to work in this type of store, in this type of area, if you hate it? So hopefully these people don't work here anymore by the time you arrive to decide on one of the most iconic outfits you will ever own, but if they do, just ignore them and take your sweet-ass time. The sales person was very helpful but surely not pushy. A lovely experience all around. I only wish I had also purchased that raspberry blazer.
