The Marais store is so easy to get to from the St Paul Metro stop, and the location allows you to take a break in a nearby cafe, only to go back to Matière Première for more. They have such beautifully designed beads and the selection is HUGE. No exaggeration. Stop in and make sure you have time; you'll need it to peruse everything there. If you're not the crafty type or just want to get something already pret-a-porter, Matière Première has already made jewelry pieces available for reasonable prices. I love looking at the necklaces, earrings, brooches, etc for inspiration for my own designs.
