This is the place to get cheap groceries and random toiletries. They've got everything from…read morepre-made salads, produce, snacks, make up, to a bakery. Not the highest quality but works if you are in a pinch. We ended up buying boxes of chocolates and cookies to bring back as gifts and later saw the same selections being sold at the airport for 2X as much.

Except for the fact there is no place to eat inside the market this is a nicely and historical one…read moreyou do not want to miss. The market has foods ranging from meat and fish to nuts and dessert. You can even find single serving paella which Valencia is so well known for. The prices are reasonable and you can make a full meal.

The prices here are pretty good I saw the paella for 6 or 7€ which is pretty cheap although the food is premade and just heated up. I would recommend a visit here when spending time in Valencia.

Instant nail polish removers (without having to buy separate cotton pads!), agua, salty snacks (seaweed and almonds), fresh items like cut fruits and prepared salads. If you want to save money on breakfast or are tired of eating bread and coffee, you can buy bananas, yogurt and some charcuterie here too. Check out the chocolate aisle for cheap souvenirs to take home for co-workers. Open from 0900 - 2130 and thankfully, they don't close for siesta!

So I really liked my trip here. I also love the two story design and the way the shopping carts travel on the escalator (a ramp) with you. Nice design!
Manna from heaven. We love the Mercadona bakery.
These are the new donuts. They're deeeeee-licious.

The food isn't by any means super fancy at the café, it was quite mediocre but it was cheap. Carrefour sells everything- clothes, shoes, food etc. I was quite impressed by the large selection of ham and cheese. How I wish I had a kitchen in my hotel so I could buy loads of ham, cheese, and a loaf of baguette. I ended up buying so much bottled water that I had to take a cab back to my hotel haha.
