I'm just starting my diagnosis and treatment with this group, but I want to share my journey with…read morethem to share cost, experience, process & plan of treatment. First- I'm not into hippie & I'm not into non proven medical practices, but I'm also open to non traditional practices. I'm not rich so a doctor outside of my insurance was a little scary. Whatever I pay towards feels like a gamble. I had great reviews for this office and both Dr. Peterson and Seibold. I'm still taking my time to trust they can cure me but so far my experience's been positive. Details of a few areas below. 1) customer experience: Office manager Meghan/ Megan was soooo sweet & also soo knowledgeable. Even after my appt with the doc, she answered in-depth medication questions I expected the doc to only know. She wasn't B'sing either. 2) Blood work & check in done by Vicki/Vicky. It was the smoothest & painless I've done. I usually pass out or get dizzy. She warmed a pad for me, chairs were comfy & she was so sweet. 3) Dr. Seibold sat with me an entire hour! Ok that alone was such a valuable experience. someone care and listen. I've felt so passed off by Dr. Berman at Uof U. but Seibold shared that even when he practiced in traditional medicine he would have passed me along too because that's how they are taught so they don't know other forms of treatment for bacterial, nuero, fungal viral etc. Seibold said he's been practicing more whole body care integrative medicine for a few yrs but used to be a traditional nuts & bolts type doc. Lyme journey I've gone the traditional route was referred by my GP at UofU for a lumber puncture & MRI even though I've been sick for so long. He saw the tick that bit me & still didn't order tests. I may spend less here than what I'd pay for normal out of pocket limit with my insurance, which is 9k. I think I could save money too if I lower my current premium with my insurance.; if these treatments work. I'm still at the testing but I'll report back to share info on future experiences. Seibald shared science backed options that were non traditional and also uses traditional approaches for Lyme, such as antibiotics. Now these treatments aren't cheap but so far I'm thinking it will be less than my out of pocket limit. They have things I didn't need like weight loss stuff but they didn't make me feel bad for not being into or needing it. Just stay your course. They do a lot of stuff and don't get sucked into any up sell unless you are financially fluid. Insurance: Most things are not covered by insurance, but they will try to help get tests covered if possible.

I highly recommend Dr. Seibold as a functional medicine doctor and all around great provider. I…read morefound out about Forum Health and Dr. Peterson originally, through hearing numerous positive things within the Lyme and tic-born illness community. It is very difficult to get appropriate diagnoses and treatment of late stage Lyme, mold toxicity, tic-born illness, and common co-occuringI infections and disorders. Dr. Seibold, Dr. Peterson's colleague, had openings so I met with him. I am 55 and have had a lifetime of various physical illnesses that run the gammut from acne to chronic sinusitis to ruptured discs. He is one of the best doctors I have ever been to (CA and UT). He is kind, calm, respectful, and professional but approachable. He is fully present in the room when he is with you and makes sure that you have everything you need in hand when you leave (as you know this is unfortunately rare). He listens carefully and explains complex medical concepts in a way that respects your intelligence but also makes them easy to digest. I am facing 5-6 debilitating diagnoses that are complicated to treat and include mental health components. Both he and all of the staff have shown me an amazing amount of patience and compassion. I dont have enough good things to say about him and the staff from the front desk, medical assistants to the phlebotomist.

Edit:: I'm still not thrilled with this office staff and Intermountain Healthcare in general, but I…read morehad to come back and write about Dr. Thomas because he really is amazing and quite possibly saved my son's life when he had the cord wrapped around his neck during delivery. He was always thoughtful and always made me feel like my thoughts and feelings were valid. He never rushed through an appointment or told me how to do things with my pregnancy. He was very personable, came in on a Saturday to induce me, and he even brought me a gift (a really cute car seat/nursing cover) after I delivered. If we decide to have a fourth baby, I will look forward to delivering with Dr. Thomas again. I'm pregnant with my third baby, so this isn't my first rodeo. We just moved to Utah a couple months ago and I was really specific with what kind of OB I was looking for: attentive, personable, someone who answers all my questions but also let's me run my own pregnancy the way I want to. I didn't get to meet dr. Thomas on my first visit, which I thought was kind of an impersonal approach to pregnancy. They just had me some in for lab work/a physical. How their practice is spread out is pretty confusing. My first visit, I was on the second floor. The lab is on the third. And my subsequent visits have been on the third floor. There wasn't hardly any direction on my first visits and it left me a little frustrated. And then there's the office staff... I had both of my little kids with my on my first visit. They have a small play area (with no toys) in their waiting area, and my kids are pretty well behaved, but I just got the vibe that they weren't welcome there. We do a Medishare, so we are technically cash patients. My previous OBs office thought this was great because it means they don't have to deal with insurance; but this office makes me feel like I'm an inconvenience every single time I come in. "Sooo you know you have to pay by 36 weeks right..." (yes I am very aware and only 16 weeks. You have my social and my address; if I don't pay it by the time it's due, then by all means, come after me.) "soooo you don't want to make any payments...?" (No, the whole bill will be paid in entirety next month, I've already cleared it with billing.) "soooo you know that you have to pay the ultrasound up front...no, we can't give you a bill before hand...sorry." And then they told me I can't bring my baby into the ultrasound, which I've never heard before and is really inconvenient because now i have to get a babysitter so my husband can come with me. So I haven't had the best experience with them. And then there's the issue with the pencils for the urine sample. Every time I've gone in, their pencils are broken and they just have little remnant pieces they expect you to pick up and use? I've told them several times, they don't even get up to look and replace them. How hard is it to just get a sharpie??? No one wants to use a half inch pencil piece to write their name all wonky on the plastic cup. The medical assistant is very nice and warm and personable and Dr. Thomas seems nice and thorough. I like him as a doctor and am looking forward to delivering with him, but I don't look forward to my office visits just because his front desk staff isn't welcoming and is super condescending.

Five stars! I've…read morebeen going to Revere Health for many years now, and I can honestly say it's been the best primary care experience I've had. The doctors there are genuinely some of the kindest I've ever met, and I've moved around a lot. Dr. Madisen Mckell and Dr. Lucas Lloyd recently treated me and were particularly outstanding. They really took the time to listen and show they cared about me and my concerns. They both come off as incredibly empathetic with very reassuring demeanors. I would highly recommend them. The other staff are also friendly and professional! I've never had issues with scheduling or billing, and they are very accommodating when I need to get in quickly. The office itself is also very clean and comfortable, but really it's the people working there that make Revere Health stand out. Every visit I leave feeling well treated by a team that shows they truly value their patients.

I'm giving them 2 stars, because I like Amanda Hood, and she listens to your concerns and offers…read moresome helpful suggestions. When it comes to medical offices that work with you to code procedures in order to make things go smoothly with your insurance and to keep your out of pocket low, they're among the worst I've worked with. They charge crazy high amounts in the first place, which are drastically adjusted by the insurance company (If you don't have insurance at all, beware!). I went in to address some sleep issues, and when asked how I wanted to handle the visit, I requested they do a full annual physical with blood work to determine what might be causing it. They ordered blood work and because they don't have a lab in-house, I had to schedule a return appointment. When I received the bill for the first visit, it wasn't coded as an annual physical. They billed it as something completely different, and between that and the blood work they ordered (some of which wasn't covered as part of an annual physical - which I'm OK with), my out of pocket ended up being far more than expected. When returning for the follow up appointment on my blood work, I discussed this with their office manager. I was told that they don't treat the initial and the follow up visits as one physical appointment, and that I had to pay for the first one as a normal outpatient visit since things were discussed in the visit that didn't pertain to an annual physical (make note - don't ask them to discuss any of your concerns, or you'll be billed for the mention of anything outside of the scope of an annual physical - and they won't tell you what those are until after you are billed). I was assured by that same office manager though, that the follow up visit would be billed as a physical and therefore would be fully covered by my insurance. We'll, turns out they billed the insurance company, for the second visit, not only for a physical, but also for an outpatient/office visit even though it was one visit. This after I was assured it would be billed as the physical only and fully covered. It felt not only opportunistic, but frankly, completely dishonest. They offered to cover half of the adjusted expense of this after making me fill out a "financial Consideration form" (as though this was about me not being able to afford it vs them admitting that they did anything wrong). In the end it seems that this office is more concerned about milking more money out of their patients than they are about building long-term relationships with them. I've worked with many offices over the years that are very good and fair about handling stuff like this. The two office visits to address essentially a requested physical and write a couple of prescriptions, were billed at around $1500. This is with no further treatment other than writing the prescriptions. That's practically what an ER would charge if I were to go there for similar reasons. Needless to say, I'm done with these guys.

The front desk woman stared at me like I was Frankenstein when I asked if I could be seen this morning.... She looked at me as if I had a some wild request for an INSTACARE! Keep in mind there was no one in the lobby and maybe 3 cars in the parking lot. Regardless, I filled out my paperwork and went back with the MA who was the nicest! He asked me about my symptoms and asked some follow up questions about how I was feeling. He was very thorough and listened to my concerns but this is the end of any sort of kindness I received moving forward. When the doctor came in he immediately began to belittle and dismiss me. When I had said that my throat hurt, my ears hurt, I am congested, and I have body aches and skin sensitivity he flat out told me he didn't care. I was taken back. He was more concerned about my high blood pressure that continued to get higher the longer I was in the room. Whenever I said I felt off and it seemed to have correlated with when I started a new med he dismissed it and harassed me further about my blood pressure. (My family has a history of high blood pressure and I'm aware of that and take medication to best to manage mine) He wouldn't listen to any of my concerns and arrogantly told me again that he didn't care about why I was there which was for my ears/ throat/ congestion/ body aches. Up until this point I held back tears but ended up getting so frustrated I started to cry as I felt like I wasn't being heard. He insisted I go to the ER and that was his only advice. He barely peeked in my ears and throat and said they look fine aside from looking a little red and irritated..... he then kept asking if my ear ache was actually headaches to which MULTIPLE times I repeated I didn't have any type of headache or migraine and that I knew the difference between ear and head pain. He tried to pry and ask who my primary care doctor was and constantly said that he didn't care about my symptoms and that I should just head to the ER for my blood pressure. (As if I have ER money, I'm a college student) Of course it was going to be high when I'm being treated disrespectfully and made to feel small the entire time. He didn't do anything and I walked out untreated and 30$ poorer. I will NEVER be stepping foot into this location ever again. I have never been treated so horribly by a doctor in my life. I ran out to my car sobbing because I was so taken aback and frustrated at this entire experience just to not be helped in anyway shape or form.
