From the owner: We are a proven, professional plumbing company based in Liverpool providing general plumbing…read moreservices to all areas of Merseyside. Our craftsmen have many years of experience in the industry and associated trades. They would be only too happy to discuss and advise on any matters. We offer competitive prices and impartial advice, which are tailored to individual customers needs. If you have any queries or require our services/quotation please don't hesitate to contact us. We believe in simplicity. We dislike any service which implements complicated pricing structures which serve to confuse customers understanding the exact price they would be required to pay. Our pricing structure is as follows: - We have no call out charge. - The first hour of service, calculated from arrival and agreement to start, costs £60. - Every subsequent hour is then charged at £20 per hour. - Our pricing does not include parts. - All our prices include VAT.

I've also called them out on a Bank Holiday as well and was very helpful then too. On the second job, the first plumber I called out advised that I would need very costly repairs doing, but luckily I sought Ascot Services as a second opinion and he showed me how the problem could be fully repaired in a way that would save me a lot of money. They also tidy up after themselves and take any rubbish created with them when they leave, which is much appreciated. I seriously recommend using these guys.

Paul has let us down bad style, I explained our circumstance. And the first words out of his mouth…read morewas I won"t let you down, not only that he ripped us off. Quoted us for doing quite a bit of work, and also charging us for doing a lot of investigation. As to what was going on with some of the wiring, only done a quarter of the work. But ended up charging us half the money that he quoted us for, he was very unreliable. He supposed to start the work on the 8th June 2023, contacted me on the 7th June asking if it was okay for him to start on the 9th June. As his partner only gets the occasional time off work, and that she was given the 8th June, and he wanted to spend time with her. During the conversation he tells me that he will work the Saturday 10th June to make up for not starting on the 8th, on the 9th June 2023. After being here for 1 hour tells me that he doesn't like working weekend, and that he will and do has much as he could in that day. To prevent him from working the Saturday 10th, turns up on the 12th June. Managers to complete a full day, get an email @01:45 Tuesday morning, telling me that he can't make on Tuesday 13th as something had cropped up. Get a texted message on Wednesday 14th won't be able to get you till 10:30, because I have got to fill a form out for an electrical charging point. Turns up just after 10:30, couple of hours into the job. It's to hot to work in this weather, and stops work @15:30. Next day Thursday 15th June, gets another text message telling us that he will be with us at lunch time. At 14:30 no sign contacts him via text message telling him to leave turning up, as it was getting too lat. Contacts me back telling me that he needs his tools, so that he could get to another job on Friday. So to rip us off he comments am I coming back to complete the work, I replied back. That I would get back to him in a a day or two, so that we could think things over as to whether we could rely on him completing the work, he then comments could we settle up now with the money. And that he just wanted to make sure that he got paid, I told him not to worry that I will pay him. But he replied I just want to make sure, so he worked out his price and I am sorry the day I ever paid him. Due to that fact of him letting us down so much, he may be okay on smaller jobs whereby he can pick and dues his work. But any big jobs he can't cope with, and this is we're he will let you down. Sorry Paul but you are a waste of space, you just don't like getting your hands dirty.

My boiler stopped working briefly due to the pressure in the boiler dropping. I called out these…read morejokers who said they would be out the following day. During this time I spoke to a friend who advised me to turn up the pressure and talked me through it...and low and behold the boiler starting working again with no issues. The following day came and we decided what the heck we've got an appointment so why not get it serviced. A bloke called Paul came out spent about an hour poking around the boiler then came down the stairs and stated that he couldn't get it working and the valve was gone! For a new valve it would cost £180. This 'service' and new diagnosis cost the grand total of £60 and we were left without central heating . It would take a week to order in this new valve apparently. In the meantime we asked another plumber (friend of a friend) to look at the boiler for us who within minutes told us that the valve was working fine and some one had reset the pressure gages incorrectly. He fixed it and charged us £40 for the call out and to fix the problems - note: problems we didn't have until mr Moran and friends got involved. Mr Moran has been informed of this fiasco but has declined to reimburse us or take any accountability. I therefore have no choice but warn other possible customers to steer well clear. Yours sincerely a dissatisfied customer.

This fault was clearly showing when Paul arrived yet he chose to ignore it and had I gone ahead with his suggested repairs I would wasted over £600 and still had the major fault. Complained to John Moran and he said he would get back to me he never did.
