The administrative and medical staff are friendly and helpful. When I waited longer than usual at a visit, I received an emailed apology! I was particularly impressed with the degree of care I received from the physician assistants. I saw Ms. Vardanyan, who correctly identified a mysterious health issue I was struggling with...the diagnosis was nothing I thought it would be and I was quickly prescribed the correct doseage of medication. My various symptoms cleared up and the quality of my life has improved so much since then. It wasn't a complicated health issue but it was nothing I would have thought of and Ms. Vardanyan was able to pinpoint the cause...for which I'm grateful! Patient First will require you have a credit card on file to pay for extra charges related to visits and such, so that is one thing to keep in mind. Highly, highly, highly recommend! Best urgent care experience ever! This place does so many…read morethings right, including: (1) the ease of making a same-day online appointment; (2) a convenient location with adequate parking; (3) a modern and clean facility with a friendly receptionist, a water bottle filling station, and complementary tissues / masks / water / snacks; and (4) competent medical staff and doctors who really do seem like they enjoy their job. They really seem to go above and beyond at this place. For example, after the medical assistant took my vitals and exited the room, I started coughing / hacking uncontrollably. She heard me and came back in and proactively offered me one of their free bottled waters, which I very much appreciated. Also, when the PA/doctor later came in and I told her my symptoms and how I had tried to self-treat with some old Rx meds I had on hand (on the recommendation of my mom, who is also a nurse), she actually commended me for doing that, re-upped my Rx, and told me to keep going. Although it was no fun to be sick right before the December holidays, this place made treating that sickness less stressful than the typical urgent care. I give this place 5 stars -- maybe even 6!

On the morning of the appointment, the front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The wait to be seen was reasonable, and wasn't very long at all. It was such a better experience than other urgent care providers I've had to use in the area. Everything was clean and appeared well maintained.

From the first meeting I had with Dr. Possner, I knew things would be vastly different and that I had found someone that would have a profound impact on my health. My first appointment was the longest time I had ever spent with a doctor. My appointment was 2 hours and Dr. Possner had fully reviewed my medical records and engaged me in thoughtful conversation about my medical history. I left my initial appointment with a feeling of empowerment over my health that I had never really felt before. Little did I know that the impact of having Dr. Possner as my doctor would happen so quickly. I was on vacation and had an acute UTI. It was after business hours, but I was able to call the office and get the on call doctor that happen to be Dr. Possner. I walked him through my symptoms and he immediately called in a prescription for me. Because he had such knowledge of my history it was easy for us to communicate and talk through my symptoms. He checked on me via email through the client portal several times over the next couple of days to ensure I was ok. The fact that I was in a remote part of a different state and I was able to call and speak with the doctor saved me stress and the hassle of finding an urgent care to go to. He has made several recommendations to other specialists and doctors, all of whom have turned out to be amazing. His referral goes a long way with each specialist I have scheduled an appointment with. I can't recommend Dr. Possner enough; he's a great listener, thoughtful, caring, kind and you can tell he truly loves what he is doing. His follow through is simply amazing.

I then started spiking a fever so I needed a potential note from a provider asking me to miss a few days of work as I was concerned I may have also picked up some type of flu/covid. The wait time was short, staff were polite but I'm so disappointed with how they pushed for a PCR test when it wasn't covered. I specifically spoke with Dr. Lee and she informed me that most insurances will cover the cost. I ended up getting slapped with 2 bills $180+ for the visit and $380+ from labcorp. This is absolutely dishonest. I work in healthcare, specifically a hospital and I've seen how insurance works. I didn't mind paying the $180 but charged from labcorp like this and saying most insurances cover? I have very good insurance working at a hospital, so this is unreasonable. I tried using the treatments she prescribed, and was writhing in pain days after while my condition worsened. A few days later, I saw a doctor at an AllCare facility, who right away diagnosed me with shingles. I'm now using this new treatment plan, and so far the pain and symptoms are slowly improving.

He's always happy to see me and tries his best to listen to my concerns when I come in.

He was generally unhelpful,…read moretelling me that I probably had no cause for concern but still referred me to a specialist that ended up being unhelpful as well. Fast forward to present day - I went to go visit him with another concern. After spending most of my visit talking about his own personal life and telling me that I looked to be in great shape (weird), he told me that I probably had no cause for concern (despite my discomfort and issues I was having with my body health) and just told me to go get blood and urine work done. I listened and did just that. The results came back pretty clean so I thought there was no cause for concern. 3 weeks later, my symptoms worsened so I called him on a Saturday to ask if there was any medicine I could take or if he could possibly prescribe me antibiotics to help me with an infection. He was very curt, blunt and rude over the phone telling me that I wasn't listening to him and if I wanted his opinion to just take it. He told me to go to urgent care so they could tell me what was wrong. Oh not to mention that he made sarcastic/snide remarks about asking me if I had multiple sexual partners without any sensitivity toward my situation. He was more interested in sounding sarcastic and lackadaisical than concerned. I wonder if he treats all his patients and even his own kids this way. If a Primary Care Physician can't even prescribe antibiotics, ever tell me what's wrong with my body and will lack any and all empathy when addressing me health concerns, what good is he? Seems like Dr. Gupta would be better suited to just being a guidance counselor since all he's interested in is discussing what he did over the weekend instead of offering any helpful medical advice or solutions. Not sure if he's past his prime, but these days, Dr. Gupta, you need some empathy and patience when speaking with folks. It's called being kind. If you're going to be rude because I "need to listen what I'm telling you to do and just take my opinion you called me for" when I'm clearly concerned and in pain, then you clearly have other issues. Never going back to this "doctor". Read the other poor reviews he has. It checks out. Seems like it's time for him to check out and hit the retirement stride.
